Can I recommend (as a steamer myself) a steam tent - hot water with a towel over your head. Less cat panic, less cost on water (ours is part of our assessment but still costs for the heating part of the deal) and you can add stuff to the steam to help out with the clearing up. I do it sometimes to get my sinuses going again and it works pretty well. It just has to be a nice stable place where the cat jumping up won't tip the pot over (because Fin will be curious if you do it - believe me, it is like a magnet). I know it's more about you than her.. hehe...<br />In our house there is an open door policy because I simply won't have it any other way. <br />If any door is shut I must pester Mum and Dad until it is opened and LEFT open.
