The Eyes of March

I'm happy to report that despite an illegal flurry of comments tonight, Mom is towing the line and working hard on my book. The were momentary tears last night when she was trying to figure out some technical formatting thingy (yawn), but I gave her a nice snuggle and laid on the keyboard till she calmed down. Yep that's what you have to do sometimes with a ghostwriter. It's pretty rough on me, but enough is enough.

To answer some of your questions:
  • Yes it's a real book about me and technically it came before the blog, some two years ago.
  • We don't know exactly when the book will come out, but it's close. Mom is hoping for early April so it could be had in time for Mother's Day perhaps. We will definitely keep you posted.
  • To start, the book will be sold through Amazon and there will be an e-book version too.
  • We will have some giveaways too.
  • We are trying to figure out how to pawtograph it for our great friends, working on it.
Uh-oh, looks like she might be watching TV, gotta go.

  2. Hey Fun, We will be ordering a pawographed copy when the time comes. The 12 of us that have eyes will take turns or have mom or dad read it for us. Radar will have to have it read to him or wait for a CD copy to come out.
Fin, be gentle on your mom and don't stress her out.

  13. Something tells me it's gonna be a best seller on the CB. Will you be selling it to New Zealand (via Amazon). I could probably get Pet Mag to do a review of it!

  19. You obviously have to watch Mom very closely. No TV till it is done! Except maybe to watch LOST on Tuesdays. Do you let her have bathroom breaks?

  20. Yeaaa!!! We're very excited that it's almost ready. But keep on your Mom - hoomins get distracted so easily.

  24. Well like everyone else, we can't wait for the book. And Fin, tell Mom that our Mom cries too when she tries to do the technical shi*** on the computer. She needs to just take a calm pill, and not worry about when the book will come out. It will be wonderful no matter when it is ready for everyone to read. Everyone just loves you so much Fin that they get over anxious. Take care especially of your Mom Fin.

  27. Fin,

You could ask Max, (Psychokitty), about how he pawtographed some of his books. Getting a little technical, is the online version going to be in .PDF format; or one of the reading machine formats (i.e. Kindle, Sony Reader)? I would also like to know how you would pawtograph an online version? :->

    Success,
    Dee

Keep her on target, yous being a grate ghostwriter.

  31. Fin - you will have to keep her at the keyboard with a firm paw. We know you are good at being firm but we think you may have to get more assertive and give her less bathroom and coffee breaks.
