Happy New Year!

Greyson here. The year is almost over and it was a big year for me. I found my furever home! I can barely remember the life I had before.

So now it's time to make resolutions for the next year:
  1. Play more kibble hockey. Helps keep me trim.
  2. Take more naps.
  3. Get as big as Quill so I can win at wrestling.
  4. Eat more of Quill's food.
Quill here. I need to make resolutions too:
  1. Eat more of my own food and eat Greyson's food.
  2. Cuddle more often.
  3. Encourage Mom to write more.
  4. Ask Tell Mom to have a special week of posts! That's right friends I noticed Angel Fin had special weeks of fun stuff all the time. We've never had a week! What do you think we should make a week of? Toys, treats, you fill in the blank...
Speaking of Angel Fin, we send our love and birthday wishes to her tomorrow. It's Mom's birthday too so we will be hoping for catnip cake.

Floofy Friday

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Snort... Zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Psst Friday! It's me Mom. The boys are a little tuckered out from the big days. The in-laws are visiting and the boys have been on alert.

Quill has spent a lot of time inspecting the closet and under the bed (to make sure it was safe for guests). It is safe but luckily no guests have wanted to join him there.

Greyson has been the cat ambassador and entertainment. Greyson has also been the hair sniffer/taster for anyone who sits on the sofa. He just runs along the back and performs his inspections. So far everyone has passed.

Hope you had a great holiday Friday! Even with the short work week, we sure were looking forward to you coming.

12.24.2013

Merry Christmas!

As promised, a vintage H.C. post from my beloved Finny girl. Happy Holidays to all our friends from all of us!

++++++++++++++++++

Mom! Mom!

What Finny? We have guests.

I need to see you ::gestures with head down the hall and whispers:: in the litter room.

Coming. ::Following Fin down the hall:: What's going on?

I'm gonna need a lot more sand.

I just changed your box... ::Sees sand all over the floor of the laundry room:: What is going on, this is a mess.

I'm just getting ready for Christmas.

What does Christmas have to do with your litter being on the floor?

I'm making a Sandy Claws Lane. I need to make sure I'm back on the Nice List, although my friends assure me Sandy Claws is very understanding and liberal with his list. I wanna be sure though so I'm making things nice and sandy, I think the reindeer use the Sandy Claws Lane to get traction.

Sandy Claws Lane? What are you talking about?

Hello! You know. Come on, that song you sing - "Here comes Sandy Claws, Here Comes Sandy Claws, right down Sandy Claws Lane?" Now if you'll excuse me I need to nap before I hang by the fire and stalk you with great care.

Happy Holidays to all our friends, and may all your holiday wishes come true.

Toy Tuesday

Mom: Boys! What happened here? Was this your doing Quillbert J Naughtyman?

Quill: We're just doing inventory Mom. Just wanted Sandy Claws to see what we already had so he would bring new stuff. See we already have two of these swing toys... Lemme just fish it out...

Greyson: Let me get in there and pull out some other items...

Quill: See Mom totally not naughty - thoughtful really.

Mom: Good thinking boys, I was totally wrong about the naughty business. Hey what about if we re-post a classic Fin post tomorrow for Christmas Eve? Maybe the one about how Sandy Claws got his name...

Quill: Oh yes Mom!

Floofy Friday

Well Hello.

What's that Friday?
This picture looks familiar to you.

You're right about that Friday. I blame Mom. Trust me, Quill and I have been darling all week as usual. Plenty of times Mom has even commented on it. "Oh how cute, I wish I had my camera!" She'd say. You know what she did then Friday? Nothing. She buried her head back in her Kindle and that was the end of it.

I'd make a bigger issue about it with her Friday, but you know Sandy Claws is coming to town next week and I better not get in too much trouble. I'm already a little in trouble for the following:

  • Sprinting out the door every time Mom returns from her walk.
  • Eating Quill's food - really Friday I swear his tastes better and I don't think he really minds...
  • Jumping on the kitchen counter.
I have to look like I'm as un-naughty as Quill so he doesn't get all my toys. Though who are we kidding Friday - even if Quill gets all the toys he'll share with me.

I mean look at him Friday, does he look bothered by anything?
And yes this is also a used pic... Sigh.

12.17.2013

Loafing

Quill here. This may be one of the best weeks ever. Mom is off work and starting today so is Dad... And they have NOTHING planned! For the rest of the week!

Mom has been loafing about and doing lots of reading. Actual books! Yesterday there was a leisurely afternoon nap! Of course I joined her, I mean any good kitty would. If she's willing to put in the time, I'm willing to go all in with her.

Even Greyson is trying to horn in on our nap time. I guess there's no surprise there - he tries to horn in on all my good times.

This morning I gave Greyson a real race. I chased him over carpets and couches. It was so funny! Greyson was in the kitchen and was trying to run but he couldn't get traction on the tiles. His ears were plastered back, his eyes were huge, and those back legs just kept churning. When he finally caught some grout he shot outta the kitchen like he was on fire. Mom laughed so hard she snorted and howled.

Good times.

Floofy Friday

Oh hey Friday! It's me Greyson. We're just eating our meal.

What's that Friday? You're wondering why we're eating bi-level? And why the little mancat has to eat on the lower level at that? It's such a great question. Seems I am accused of being a little piggy. You see when Mom fed us on the same level I would try to stick my tail in Quill's food, wolf down my food, and then nose him out and finish his food. Nothing wrong with that... but of course Mom sides with Quill.

She says he is such a sweet boy he'd never eat but...

Quill: Psst! Greyson!

Well Friday I think you can see he's not as innocent as Mom thinks...

Taking Turns Tuesday

Fade In

Two kitties sit waiting impatiently for their Mom by the closed front door. Both kitties stand in anticipation as the hear the sounds of a lumbering human coming up the walkway.

Greyson: Psst! Quill if we work together we can both get outside like we did the other day.

Quill: Huh?

Greyson: Look she only has two hands, and to catch us both she'd need four... Are you in?

They both turn to see the door handle jiggle.

Quill: I'm in! You dart out first like you always do. As soon as she picks you up I'll dart under the chair on the porch.

Greyson: Whatever she says about "going inside" just ignore her. As soon as she puts me down to pick you up I'll dart back outside.

Quill: The door is opening - Run!

The door opens and Greyson darts for the walkway to the backyard. Mom foolishly trusts Quill not to run out and leaves the door open while she chases after Greyson.

Quill darts under the chair on the porch and begins a slow inspection of every leaf. He ignores all Mom's pleading to "get in the house." As soon as Mom tosses Greyson in the house Quill moves further under the chair and Greyson sprints outside again.

Rinse and Repeat at least four more times. Eventually a sweaty Mom manages to get all the pets back in the house... Until tomorrow...

Fade Out

Mom's Dad surgery update: Thanks for all your healing thoughts! They were able to place a plate on his arm bone and some pins and he is home for healing now! If you could spare a few more thoughts we would appreciate it.

12.05.2013

Floofy Friday

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hello Friday! I didn't see you behind my mancatly paw.

Greyson is still pretty tuckered out after the big adventure yesterday. Of course this morning he howled the entire time Mom was on her walk. Mom said there would be no outside adventures today and I have to say I didn't mind. It's cold out there Friday. I sure hope you have mittens! Mom says it may even snow here on Saturday - something we've never seen. Maybe you need a scarf too? Enjoy your weekend Friends!

Oh I almost forgot! Mom's Dad is having surgery to fix his broken arm Monday morning so if you could spare some purrs and healing thoughts we'd sure appreciate it.

12.04.2013

Our Big Adventure

Quill here. You won't believe what happened! This morning started like any other:
  • Litter box change - check
  • Kibble set out - check
  • Mom's walk with her sister - check
Greyson and I took up our posts waiting by the front door for Mom's return. Usually Greyson waits right next to the door and howls till she gets back. He tries to sprint out when Mom opens the door. I watch politely on the sofa - not a squeak from me.

Today a few minutes into Mom's walk Greyson jumped on the door - and it popped open!! We both stared in shock. Greyson yelled out "Thank Cod" and sprinted outside. Of course I had to keep my eyes on the baby - I was left in charge.

At first Greyson just played on the porch and then he started towards our back gate. I told him to come back inside (it was really cold!) but he insisted. About 10 minutes later I heard him yowling at the back door. I went inside the house and tried to squeak out instructions to come back to the front.

By now Greyson was FREAKED OUT and couldn't hear me. So I went back out to the porch and that is when Mom arrived home. She had seen a poster for a lost cat on her walk and thought I was the lost cat for a minute. When she saw it was me, and that the door was open she FREAKED OUT too.

She grabbed me and felt me up to be sure I was okay. I tried to tell her Greyson was on the back porch but she was too busy yelling "OH MY GOD, WHERE'S GREYSON!!" to hear me. She closed me in the house and went to the back gate yelling for Greyson. I guess she was plenty loud to hear cause Greyson ran all the way to the front door on his belly with his fur floofed in panic (something he later denied but we saw it).

Mom let him in and snuggled him too. Then we got a lecture about NEVER going outside without supervision. We also got a little pat for being smart enough not to leave the yard. Of course only one of us was smart enough to stay on the front porch.

12.03.2013

Brrr

Cold Weather... Is that you?

It is! Looks like you're gonna be hanging around all week. Of course I'm happy it's you and not Really Cold Weather. Forty degree highs is balmy for a lot of our friends. I guess I'll have to forgive Mom so I can cuddle. She is hot like an oven!

12.02.2013

Traitor Tuesday

Greyson here. You will never guess what happened on "Thanksgiving" over here!

When the neighbor showed up the night before to "get to know me" I was so excited that I started an episode of the Bug-A-Boo show right then. I rolled on my back exposing my belly like a pro.

I was pretty excited for my first Thanksgiving with my family, so I was really excited when my parents both got up early on the big day. I had a great time playing in the suitcases, till Quill told me they were a very bad sign.

When he told me he'd been abandoned last year - well I couldn't believe they would abandon two handsome mancats to go visit a dawg (and other humans). Well I was wrong friends - so wrong. Our kibble was doled out by a neighbor on the big day!

When my parents returned from the gallivanting I gave Mom the back of disrespect. She is still getting half of the kitty cold shoulder from me too. Of course Quill was so happy to see her that he caved in minutes. We both think she is the responsible party, although it was Dad's family they visited. Thanksgiving indeed!

Mom here: My Dad fell on some ice and badly broke his arm. If you could spare some purrs so he can have the surgery and start healing up we would appreciate it.

11.28.2013

Floofy Friday

Hello Friday!!

We understand you are THE day to shop this week. We're totally in for that Friday! We've prepared a list of things we'd like to pick up:
  • Pipe cleaners. You can never have enough Friday.
  • Cat nip. If you could keep that on the down low... Mom says no catnip for us because we get to rowdy with each other.
  • Swing toy - with feathers please. Mom gets all nervous because somecat likes to nibble the strings.
I think that'll do it for now. Now if only we could use a credit card... You take care Friday and don't let anyone trample you in the stores.

11.27.2013

Happy Thanksgiving

We thought we'd share a few things we're each thankful for today.

Quillbert:
  • My woobie blanket. It's the perfect blanket to make a batch of paw biscuits.
  • Mom. She's my person.
  • Dad. He's my other person.
  • Greyson. He's always ready to play.
Greyson:
  • Quillbert. I love to chase him, and wrestle with him.
  • A fresh litter box. I hide until Mom gets done scooping and then I dive in.
  • My parents. They're my people.
  • Quill's toys. They're always funner when he's played with them.
Mom:
  • My single-cup coffee maker. Mocha coconut coffee with soy milk creamer. Yum!!
  • All my boys (that includes Hubby) hanging with me.
  • My morning walks with my big sis. We talk over the phone as we go.
  • All of you. It means so much to us to have you here.
Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends!!

11.25.2013

New Spot

Quill here. I'm always on the hunt for a new, quiet, brother-free zone in the house. As soon as I find a good spot, Greyson hunts me down and tries to steals it.

For example - My office chair...

He has also stolen my spots under the bed, on the sofa, and on the shelf. So I'm pretty excited when I find a new place. I started sleeping on Dad's office chair. I still have a view of Mom's comings and goings but no baby brother.

Until yesterday. I was enjoying the chair when Dad came in and moved me to the guest bed comforter. The bed wasn't made up yet, so it was super toasty and I decided to stay. Next thing you know...

Greyson found me. Oh Dad thought it was so cute that he had to take our picture. Sigh. Another spot bites the dust.

11.21.2013

Floofy Friday

I think I see you Friday!

Greyson, do you see Friday?
Greyson?!

Greyson are you sleeping at your post?

Huh? No I'm on it! Yep it's Friday!!

Good to see you buddy! We've been waiting for you all week! Sure hope you brought Saturday with you!

11.20.2013

So Rude

Greyson here. You won't believe what happened here today! Quill and I were doing our daily desk inspection. I was inspecting Mom's keyboard with my paws - making sure the delete key was operating (it was).Quill was trying to do a taste test on Mom's computer cable. Just a nibble, he tried to squeak in explanation when Mom ushered him away into the kitchen for a snack. Score!

When I was done, I headed back to the office to finish my shift. Here is where things take a serious turn. The door was SHUT! We meowed to let her know that there was an error. We could hear her in there - she was leading a conference call with a lot of people.

I meowed even louder - I mean clearly she needed us in there. What's a conference call without two assistant cats crawling over your desk?

So I started to leap up at the doorknob to try to get it open. Suddenly Dad showed up. I thought he was going to help, but instead he said it was a Management Lock Out. He said Quill and I would have to take the afternoon off! Who does this Management think we are? We don't slack.

So we waited by the door. Finally Mom opened the door. I was beside myself. I explained how hard I'd tried to get in to help her on the call. She petted me until I was all meowed out. I purred as she filled me in on what had happened during the call. Quill got an extra snuggle in the big bed to calm him down. He hates to disappoint Mom and not be helpful during her workday.

I don't know who Management is, but they better not try to lock us out again.

11.18.2013

Toasty Tuesday

Quill here. It was a roasty and toasty weekend. I had a great time keep close to Mom. She was feverish and extra warm to cuddle up to. I worked very hard to heal her:

  • I liberally applied healing cat spit by licking her hands at great length.
  • I purred healing purrs over her as she petted my furs.
  • I made sure she got up every now and then to get some exercise (food dishes don't fill themselves).
I'm happy to report that Mom is doing much better. She's back to scooping our litter boxes on a regular basis. Thank Cod.

Did Greyson help? I guess, but not with my dedication to the task. He would cuddle but then as she as she'd grab for a tissue he'd run for the nightstand. He still has a lot to learn.

11.14.2013

Floofy Friday

Well hello Friday.

Why yes that is my laser toy between my paws. I was hoping Mom would take the hint and play dot as a reward for my sitting for my portrait.

It's been a kinda rough week Friday. Quill has stopped treating me with kitten gloves. Then Mom had Jury Duty ALL DAY on Tuesday. Today she realized she brought home a little cold. I sure hope not - those big sneezes are scary.

Of course Quill doesn't mind... he loves it when Mom is tucked in bed all weekend. Just look at the smile as he dreams of a feverish mom in the bed.

So you can just guess how this weekend is gonna look like. See you soon buddy!

11.13.2013

Baby

Quill here. I thought everything was going to change when Greyson was no longer a kitten. Not quite.

Every time he would nose me out of something (my dish, my spot on the bed, etc) I would call him out for a wrestle. Naturally I would win in a landslide. I have MOVES.

But as soon as I'd get the upper paw, Greyson would squeal like a baby. Of course Mom would hear and she'd tell me to let him go... "Quillbert he's just a baby!"

So I'd let him up and he thought it was fine to nose in the next time. On his birthday I realized - he's not a baby anymore! I didn't need to be the bigger cat and let it go.

So when I jumped on the bed and caught him snuggled up on MY woobie blanket I gave him a little chomp on the hiney.

When we were wrestling I had him down for the count. When he squealed I KNEW Mom would be on my side. Do you know what she said?

"Quill! He's smaller than you..."

Seriously? He's always gonna be smaller - does that mean I have to let eat my meal? Surely not - right?

11.11.2013

Mancat Monday!!

Greyson here! That's right Friends!
I'm a year old today (we think)!

I am still much smaller than Quill,
but I make up for my small stature with my BIG personality!

Mom says this picture is a better representation of my personality...

I think she's right. I'm a mover and a shaker! I play hard and I nap even harder! I like everyone to know when I've entered a room. I call out with little chirps when I can't find my people and throw myself against closed door. I don't like when my people leave the house for even a minute. I like an audience for all antics.

So pull up a chair or a piece of couch and I'm happy to bring on the floor show. After the performance I'll chase you all over the house, then we can snuggle.

Let's party!!

Quill: If you want to eat anything, you better not let Greyson see you or he'll swoop in for the food grab.

11.07.2013

Floofy Friday

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Sorry Friday.
Looks like Greyson is busy holding up the sofa and the wall.

Next week my little bro turns a year old(ish).

I can barely remember how quiet life was before he arrived.
He's a good brother, even when he is a little irritating.

I would like to be able to eat some food out of my own dish...

11.04.2013

Tuesday Tiffs

Did someone say claw clippy time?

Maybe after you clip Greyson...

Mom says I've been feisty the last couple of days. Me! Mom has started calling me Quillbert J Naughtyman. I am only responding to the feisty little mancat named Greyson. He has gotten it into his head that now that he is almost a full mancat that he can officially be in charge here at the H.C.

I am pretty willing to let him take the lead in many things - but blanket in chargeness? No. If that means I have to sit on him now and again - then I am up to the task. Lucky for him I am a gentle giant...

11.01.2013

Floofy Friday

H-h-hi Friday... It's me Quillbert.

It's been kinda scary here at the H.C. Last night there was a full out assault on the front door. Little humans yelling things from the door and demanding treats. I remembered the terror from last year and I ran for Under the Bed. I tried to get Greyson to run too, but he didn't believe me.

It wasn't that scary Quill... The wildest thing all week started Tuesday night when Mom and Dad returned from "The Airport." Mom came in and right behind was a second Mom-Like person. She sounded like Mom and even looked like Mom. Quill and I ran to OUR Mom and sniffed her to make sure she was our Mom.

So who was the N.O.M. (Not Our Mom)? Turns out our Mom has a sister that Quill remembered as "Aunt Jenny" all of which seems very suspicious. I mean Aunt Jenny lives in the phone - Mom talks to her on it all the time Friday. After a couple of days, just when I was getting used to another lap, she went back into the phone.

We're all a little sad that she's gone. I mean another pair of hands for petting and treating are great. Hope you didn't get too scared this week Friday.

10.31.2013

Not Yet Floofy Friday

Quill: Psst Friday. Over here! We're hiding out under the bed.

Greyson: It's too dark for even the pawparazzi. But it's safe here.

Quill: Scary little humans are ringing our bell... and Dad keeps opening the door!!

Greyson: We'll post cute photos of us later, maybe tomorrow. It's been a wild week - there's been a Mom doppelganger here too.

10.28.2013

Last First

Dad:: Dig, dig, rummage. Pulls out pumpkins from the closet and dances about:: Yippee!

Greyson: What's he doing?

Quill: It's Boo Time - Halloween. He decorates the front yard before the terrifying little humans come.

Greyson: What are you talking about? Halloween? Little humans?

Quill: Oh my gosh - you don't know what Halloween is!

Greyson: No! I was born in November. My first holiday was one with turkey.

Quill: So Halloween is your last first holiday.

Greyson: I guess so. I'm going to be an official mancat soon. So tell me about Halloween and the little humans...

Quill: It's scary. They dress up and ring our doorbell and demand treats.

Greyson: Sounds great I love to demand treats!

10.24.2013

Floofy Friday

Hi Friday! It's me, Mom. The boys are kinda spent but they sure will be happy to see you when they wake up. I looked over the other morning and saw this....

I know Friday! Both of em napping together. I could barely stand the cuteness! I had to sneak another angle.

Such a bummer on the flash though. You don't mind do you? I mean that's a lot of floof, flash or no. You just got here, and I'm already excited to see you next week!

10.23.2013

Tummy Takeover

Quill here. I can't believe how rude Greyson can be. Did you see he posted a picture of his bloated tummy on my blog? Well I can show you some tummy friends...

Bad enough Greyson eats my kibble, but blog takeovers are just not allowed. Mom says I've trimmed down. Luckily there's still plenty of tummy to rub - plenty! Dad says I am over 36" long from stretched out front paws to back. I think that is like a mile of floofy white tum. Take that Greyson!

10.20.2013

Meh Monday

Well Monday, you're back I see...

Maybe you'd like to take it a little easy... Maybe wait around for Tuesday? It's not that I don't enjoy spending time in the office with you and Mom, but you tend to make her a little stressed. The only good thing about her being a little stressed is that she likes to take kitty snuggle breaks. I like a kitty snuggle break.

Of course the breaks are shorter when she is "working" which I don't prefer. I like an extended snuggle, where Greyson prefers to get in and out quick. To each his own - Lucky for us Mom is fluent in both snuggle styles. What about you, which snuggle do you prefer?

10.17.2013

Floofy Friday

Hi Friday! Seems I'm in a little bit of trouble because of my desire to share meals with Quill. His meals, not so much mine. I've been told I'm a little hoglet. Me!

Me - after my meal (and Quills).
See Friday it all started when  I got here Mom decided Quill needed to drink more. She had this great idea to add water to his kibble. Quill loves it! He drinks all the broth first and then I swoop in and enjoy the water-logged kibble. Suddenly everyone starts yelling at me!

The next time Mom prepared a little tray for me too. I totally ignored my tray and swooped in for the kill waited for Quill to lick the broth off - then I ate his kibble. I totally let Quill drink the broth in my dish! But then I pushed him out and ate my kibble too.

I needed to sleep it off after that. As you can see I needed to let that tummy breath. I know I shouldn't eat Quill's share too, but it's really tasty.

Don't worry Friday I won't eat your kibble - I'm still pretty full.

10.16.2013

National Feral Cat Day

Mom here. Today is National Feral Cat Day in the United States. The day is particularly important to me since my sweet Quill came into my life.

If my boy hadn't been rescued by Kacie when he was just a baby, he might have lived a very different life. My big gentle boy might have been forced to fight on the streets to survive. He might have had to kill to eat, when he clearly is a pacifist.

My timid boy might have lived in fear and run from humans - actually he does kinda does that now. He would have missed the touch of kind humans who love him dearly and would do anything for him. He never would have learned how happy a nice chin scritch can make you feel.

I can't imagine a life without my loving and sweet boy - and I'm glad I don't have to try to imagine it either.

10.14.2013

The Evil Dyson

Greyson and Quill: ZZZzzzzzzzz

Mom: Blah, blah, shedding enough four cats, blah, blah....

Greyson: Huh? What? Hey Quill did you hear the door to the Evil Dyson's Lair?

Quill: Huh? No. Plus all our toys are still out. You know before the Evil comes all our toys disappear first.

Greyson: Yeah. That's true...

Evil Dyson: ROOOOOAAAARRRRR!!!!

Greyson: Save yourself Quill!! Get to the closet and I'll distract it!

We ran for the bedroom as as we rounded the corner we saw that it was attacking our MOM! Mom had it by the neck AND by the tail, but still it was almost getting away from her. We both ran into the closet and watched in horror as Mom wrestled it all around the house.

In the end Mom silenced it and then ripped out it's stomach (filled with our furs!). Dad was able to take the wounded Dyson and put it back in its lair. What a horror show friends.

10.10.2013

Floofy Friday

Help!!! Save me Friday!!

Just kidding Friday! Careful now - squee alert!

I asked Quill to give me a bath.
You can see how much I hate it. MOL.

Truth is I love it!

I give Quill an ear bath whenever he asks too. Cause I'm a giver.

You wanna get in on this bath time Friday?
You can get right in line.
Just keep down the volume on those squeals!

10.09.2013

Thoughtful Thursday

Greyson here. I am such a thoughtful kitten - always looking out for my family. I only wish they saw it that way.

Last night I saw Mom in the kitchen, naturally I went in to see what she was doing. She often needs me to stand under her feet while she prepares things. I'm often called upon to eat any scraps that might fall. Just part of the service I provide.

I noticed she was rummaging in a sack of some kind. Naturally I decided to jump on the counter to see if it was a treat sack for me - and Quill too (I was going to share - some). Well I saw she was filling a bowl with potato chips. Surely she shouldn't be eating those - she needed my help!

When I tried to talk Mom down from her chip frenzy - she just yammered on about how I wasn't supposed to be on the counter. I know! So rude! Of course I had to take action.

I saw my opportunity when she picked me up with one arm and her chip bowl with the other. I used my talented Monkey Tail to sweep my tail into the chip bowl and flick all the chips onto the floor. Crisis averted. Would a "Thank You Greyson!" be too much to ask? Or at least a treat? I don't eat chips - at least not BBQ flavor.

10.08.2013

Wash Wednesday

Mom: Greyson? Greyson where are you?

Greyson: In here Mom!

Mom: Greyson! What are you doing in the laundry room sink?

Greyson: I just figured out I could jump up here.

Mom: Hey while you're in there, maybe we could wash your dirty paws little guy.

Greyson: This is my "I'm not amused by you Mom." face. Besides if my paws are dirty maybe it's more a reflection of your housekeeping skills rather than my bathing skills....

10.03.2013

Floofy Friday

Why hello Friday.

I'm just sitting here in my catloaf position.

Here's another one for you too - notice the paw dangle.

That's just for you Friday!
Where's Quill you ask... Snoozervising Mom.

Mom's had a ton of boring old conference calls this week.
It's enough to put a kitty into nap mode.

Thankful Thursday

Oh hey friends, and welcome to you Thursday! Greyson said what he was grateful for last week and I didn't want you to think I wasn't thankful on Thursday.

I'm pretty thankful everyday. In no particular order here are things I am thankful for:

  • My rescuer - Kacie. I never forget that if fate hadn't taken a paw, I might be living as a wild kitty on the streets.
  • My Mom. I love Dad too, but Mom is my person.
  • My Woobie Blanket. Nothing makes me want to make a batch of biscuits like my Woobie.
  • Mom cuddles on my Woobie Blanket - Pure Heaven!
  • Treats. I love all treats. I really like Greenies, Temptations... okay there may not be a treat I don't like.
  • Window sitting. I love to sit at one of my window posts and watch the outside.
  • Greyson. I hate to admit it, but I love Greyson. He does make things much more exciting. When he does leave me alone - I go and find him.
  • Did I mention eating?

Floofy Friday

Thank Cod Friday - it's you!
We've been looking out for you all week buddy.

::Whispers:: I was afraid the cable repairman was going to scare you off! Sure am glad he left before you showed up. I think Thursday was a little scared, but Greyson took good care of him. Course Thursday tuckered Greyson out.

You don't want to wake him? Gee that's so nice of you Friday! You're always so great buddy. Take it easy!
