Happy Easter to you too, Finny! Mom is brushing us ceaselessly, but thankfully I don't have knots so it takes less time. Try to be nice to your mommy, she just wants you to look your best. I don't really like that brushing business either...
MOL! Maybe your mom can get one of those cone-things to put around your head while she gets out your mats. So you can't bite. The groomer used to do that with Chumley, to brush out his back end after she shaved his belly. He loved the shaving, but hated the brush!
Fin, that is such a great expression. I think Mom better leave your knots alone now. They will come out on their own eventually since you are probably shedding. Hope you can have a good Passover, Easter, or Spring break.
Fin, I would be happy for your Mom to brush me. I loves to be brushed. I don't even mind when Mom gets the knots out. And Mom well Mom isn't to great at the brushing deal. I am the first cat she has ever had to brush. She doesn't even think about brushing me until she finds a knot when she is petting me. So I'll let your Mom brush me and you can be petted by my Mom. ~Artemisia
Good luck, Fin! We hope you can escape the shearing!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, Passover and Spring to you too!
Tis the season!!! It's mat hunting season in full swing! Maybe Jonesie and you can find a place where you can hide together.
ReplyDeleteTell her it's the new style and you're in fashion!

ReplyDeleteJust get it over with, Fin. We find submission ultimately to be the easier path. Happy Easter!

Oh noe! Not a tock knot. They are the worst kind.
ReplyDeleteDon't go near the tocks!
ReplyDeleteFin - if your Mom gets that tock knot wait until she's asleep and get some clippers and cut off some of her hair - after all it's only fair.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you mum stays away from that tock knot. Have a great Easter!
ReplyDeleteFin that does not sound like a fun way to spend the weekend! We hope you have a good one and that your mom is distracted so you can enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you, Fin and good luck!

Happy Easter to your family, too.
ReplyDeleteI understand about the knots!

If she ignores that warning, she is either very brave or very foolish.
ReplyDeletePoor you, being on the run. Although it is a little bit funny to have your Mom run around the house after you the entire Easter.
ReplyDeleteUh Oh...maybe you need a ...Party Hat (aka muzzle)
ReplyDeleteYou do not look happy. Glad we have shorter furs, mum is happy about that too.
ReplyDeleteWatch out Fin, dey might shave yoo!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you Fin! I know exactly how you feel, I make the same face when my mom tries to attack my knots!
ReplyDeleteCome and hide with me behind the cactus. We can both revel in our knots.
ReplyDeleteDoes she have a furminator? Those get knots out very easily and feel good too. Happy Easter Fin and fam!
ReplyDeleteSurely you're not having a spell are you? We love you the way you are, you can tell her we said so! Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteFin, Caramel sympathizes with you! Mom has been after her with the nail clippers to remove mats from her belleh furs.
