Angel Fin told me about it in a dream, and boy am I excited! Seems my parents were trying to keep the whole X-mas thing on the down low. I wondered why Mom kept distracting me while reading friends blogs. My parents said they thought I was too
I can't believe it! I mean there's supposed to be a tree for
My Mom even has a white feather theme every year. I am so in! Yet somehow I am so out!
Upon questioning Mom seems to think the whole present situation might be in jeopardy too. Something about biting the hand (and cankles) that feeds me being naughty... blah, blah, blah. Surely this can't be right?
Does Sandy Claws look the other way for ample-sized, mildly naughty kittens?
Quill, we hope Sandy Claws looks away for all kitties (when we're being bad, of course).
ReplyDeleteOur Mom was worried about a tree with Raz, but she decided to put one up and (so far) things are going well.

Don't climb the tree, Quill!! You can get hurt!! But sometimes it is fun to play with the bottom ornaments. You can bat them and they swing and sometimes come off. If it is a ball you can roll it around :)
ReplyDeleteIt is more fun to play with the presents under the tree!! They are wrapped in colorful paper that is fun to rip open. And most of them have RIBBON!!!!!!! you can have hours of fun playing with that.
Try to be extra nice to make up for naughtiness. Mommies like snuggles and paw kneading.
Love, Scout
Hm, I am getting the idea that your humans may be canceling Christmas this year because they are afraid you will destroy the awesome climbing tree and fun cat toy decorations that get put up every year! I bet they didn't tell you about all those cool items, did they, Quill? I call FOUL on this! It is a time-honored kitty tradition, a rite of passage in fact, for every kitten to destroy Christmas decor their first year! Not nice of your humans to try to deny you this!
ReplyDeleteMom just has to tire you out everyday so that tree doesn't look so inviting. My boy Norton (and his Mr. Tail) took a nice nap under the tree last year.
ReplyDeleteWe think Sandy Claws must turn a blind eye cuz even Princeton is getting gifts! (so, no worries, sweet one!)
ReplyDeleteWe are sure Sandy Claws will bring you a gift! The tree may be another story...we don't get a tree to climb or bat toys on.
ReplyDeleteSanta encourages young handsome mancats in training to whap and chase baubles off the tree Quill. It means he has time to put out all your squillions of presents before you start opening them. We hope you get everything on your list.

I know that Sandy Claws loves kittens or are naughty with mice!
ReplyDeleteI don't see how Sandy Claws could ever resist you. Maybe you make a pile of your toys into a Christmas tree shape?
ReplyDeletedon't feel bad, we don't get a tree or stocking here either. :) but we are SURE Sandy Claws will bring you presents.....
ReplyDeleteSandy Claws will turn a blind eye to your gorgeous self for sure.. You will be forgiven all..Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteWe feel sure that Sandy Claws will come to see that ample sized kitty. He usually forgives big kitties. We betcha that you get some new nice toys. In fact we know a little secret but we can't tell you yet. Take care and have a great day.
ReplyDeleteof course he does!! Your Mom is just kiddin' you!
ReplyDeleteWe are sure Sandy Claws will bring you toys.
ReplyDeleteGo for the tree. In for a penny, in for a pound. That's my motto!
