Dad:: Dig, dig, rummage. Pulls out pumpkins from the closet and dances about:: Yippee!
Greyson: What's he doing?
Quill: It's Boo Time - Halloween. He decorates the front yard before the terrifying little humans come.
Greyson: What are you talking about? Halloween? Little humans?
Quill: Oh my gosh - you don't know what Halloween is!
Greyson: No! I was born in November. My first holiday was one with turkey.
Quill: So Halloween is your last first holiday.
Greyson: I guess so. I'm going to be an official mancat soon. So tell me about Halloween and the little humans...
Quill: It's scary. They dress up and ring our doorbell and demand treats.
Greyson: Sounds great I love to demand treats!
I like the little humans, unless the look like space aliens!
ReplyDeleteA good time to hang out UTB. But at least we don't get any here!
ReplyDeleteDoorbell?
ReplyDeleteWe are SO outta here!
Except of course, for that little tramp Salem...
Oh Greyson, you are growing up so fast..
ReplyDeleteand you are so going to love halloween.. hopefully your mom and dad remember that you should get lots of treats too
Greyson, we're not sure if you're gonna like Halloween. Those little ghouls and goblins that come to the door make a whole lotta noise!
ReplyDeleteNobody has ever knocked on my door asking for treats! Which is just as well - Binga would probably pitch a fit since she thinks all treats belong to her!
ReplyDeleteSo far we have been lucky and have not had any little peeps come around here but now there are some next door so they might come scare all of us.Hope you have a not too scary Halloween.
ReplyDeleteumm....Greyson.... it isn't THAT kind of treat.... and those little people should be avoided. Just sayin'
ReplyDeleteThose little humans aren't so bad. I've lived with one since he was 7 and I was a young cat of about 1 year. Sometimes they are noisy but they are also very generous with the kitty treats. Now I'll be 11 soon and my small human is now my biggest human. If you take good care of the small ones you can grow them bigger and teach them to do all the things you like, just the way you like. Speaking of my no longer little human, I gotta go...he's got bacon!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Mistletoe
I don't like doorbells and little peeps scare me even more. I don't have to hide though because we live too far out for the trick or treaters. Nearly a mancat already Greyson! Time flies!!
ReplyDeleteWe hope the yard looks extra scary this year!
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky as I live Sooooooo far out in the country that we don't get trick-or-treaters. They would scare me! But I hope you enjoy your first Halloween.
ReplyDeleteWe demand treats every day to practice for Halloween, but we always end up spending Halloween under the bed.
ReplyDeleteIf the doorbell's a ringing, we're UTB! Happy Halloween, pals!
ReplyDeleteI would love the little Peeps IF...IF...they loved me. If now, I gots claws!
ReplyDeleteMy humans were out for Halloween and we didn't get any little humans nor did I get any treats, I'll ask the younger owner for some later!
ReplyDeleteKitties that haven't figured everything out yet are so cute and so much fun. Their naiveté is always refreshing. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
