Beef!
It's what's for Dinner!
Here is another example of Mom's elusive humor. Something about this being the tag line for some meat commercial.
For me, I'm just excited that my Fancy Crack with Gravy is back on the menu. I was so tired of that senior kitizen food in chick-hen flavor. I'm still enjoying my special treats twice a day. I will get Mom to show them tomorrow. I feel better all the time, and without any silly pills I might add! What are you eating for dinner friends?
We got cut off of Fancy Beast when Nigel went from 12 to 18 pounds! Ha! He loved it so much, that is how mom slipped him his anti-anxiety meds. Once he tapered off of those, he had to taper off the Fancy stuff as well. He's still huge.
ReplyDeleteI eat Nutro Hairball Control chicken and rice! I love it! Mom says it cost almost 1 green paper each! I guess that means I'm pretty special.
ReplyDeleteOur Mom thought that your Mom's tag line was pretty funny...we also just like the beef. We sometimes get a little Fancy Feast but mostly it's raw for Samson's piddle problems.
ReplyDeleteYou were so right that you didn't need those pills, Fin. The special treats are exactly what you need and deserve!
Thanks to your Mom for filling in our Mom about the Purrformance review. We're pretty excited about exposing her for the non-observant woman that she is (the 'not picking up on the review' being our biggest evidence in this case)
We don't get Fancy Feast...'cuz Ernie's got allergies and hasta eat special foods...but it's okay...those special foods are pretty good!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Fin, we're happy to hear that your special treats are still on your menu!!
We're not allowed to have beef (it upsets our tummies) and until recently we were also not allowed to have Fancy Feast... now that we do have it, we know what you mean about crack in gravy!! OM NOM NOM!!
ReplyDeleteGlogirly can't get the "Beef, It's What's For Dinner" music out of her head now. She's driving me crazy.
ReplyDeleteAs for dinner, I'm a one-trick cat so for me it's my crunchy gingivitis food. I'm hoping Glogirly gets up in the middle of the night for a snack. It she does, and I play my cards right, I'll get an extra scoop.

P.S. GG said to say thank you for your very sweet comment today. You made her day.
I'm not a fan of the Beef myself, but the Salmon in Gravy is the best!
ReplyDeleteWe can't get Fancy Feast here but mum brought back FF medleys from America and Grr, Midnight and Cocoa sent back FF appetisers. It was lishus. We get Gourmet Pearl for dinner and Royal Canin Sensitive for breakfast. We can't have beef because Eric is allergic to anything that contains it. We are glad you are enjoying your special treats and that you continue to get better even though you don't take any pills.
ReplyDeleteWe are eating Gourmet Pearls tonite ~ but Mom and dad vary our meals so we don't get bored.
ReplyDeleteI had Fancy Feast chicken with gravy! Mmmmm tasty!
ReplyDeleteHad some tuna. Some beef would have been nice though!
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE the Fancy Feast Appetizers. We SCREAM for it as Tommy opens it. Tho, she says it's kinda pricey for a smaller size--like it's 2 or 2.5 ounces. Fin I'm glad you're feelin' better!!
ReplyDeleteHey Fin,
ReplyDeleteI'm on Fancy Feast, too! I have a thing called 'food allergies' and one VetHuman made me eat really $$ food called 'Lamb'. ICK! I did not like it and I lost some ounces. Then Mom gave me FF and I have gained back my ounces. Now I am up to 7.5 lbs. Mom says I'm a small cat but I know I'm FIERCE! Have a sunpatch day!

Mom let us run out of stinky goodness this week. We're going to take that into account when we do her PurrFurrmance Review.
ReplyDeleteSniffie and the Florida Furkids
Nom nom nom!!!
ReplyDeleteWe don't get FF, but sometimes get other canned food. Not often though. We must speak to The Mommy about that.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad to hear you're still getting your special treats and not any yucky pills!
Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
We haven't had any fancy feast. What are we missing?
ReplyDeleteThis is the exact same flavor that Moseley has decided to like this week! He actually eats most of the can...leftovers go to Penny, of course. Lately I've been indulging all the kitties in Frisies canned food because Moseley won't eat that kind anymore, but everyone else will! Nom!

Mmmm, stinky goodness! We get 9~Lives Daily Essentials dry kibble! But, 2x a week mom gives us Fancy Feast Appetizers, because we need our meat too. Plus, with all of the "accidental" drops Mom always does (shhhh, don't tell our dad, he HATES that she gives us people food!) we get meat that way as well. Kitties on strictly wet food, tend to end up having furry bad teeths and gums.
ReplyDeleteFur din-din we will be havin' a little of that pork roast that momma is cookin' today, please, and fank you's furry mucho fur asking☺
ReplyDeleteit all comes down to the simple things, doesn't it? Check out my blog, I posted something about your antics today!
ReplyDeleteMy Peoples don't give me wet food but it sure looks good!
ReplyDeletePaws 'n Claws,
Rupert
My Purr Gang share a can of food in the meownings ... always asking for more but Mom just pets us.
ReplyDeleteyummy ^^
ReplyDeleteI do not enjoy beefs, but Harley loves it! I only like chicken and rabbit.
ReplyDeleteYes, we can't get any Fancy Feast beef where we live any more. What's up with that?
ReplyDeleteThere's only so much chick-hen and tur-key that a cat can take.
I don't get any stinky goodness...I'm going to note this on my human's performance review...
ReplyDeletewe are eating old canned Friskies...and Temptations from our Paw-it-Forward!
