We are actually looking down at the ground. Lovely stone formations, both the gravel and the larger flat stones - and of course it wouldn't work without a cat relaxing on top of them.
I think he's just deciding where it is sunniest the most. My cat does this a lot and Id end up staring at the same space trying to figure out what she's looking at.
You're looking very happy outside -- so what WAS it?! I read about your thyroid issue & hope you are feeling better. We've known several kitties with this problem.
