House of Horrors Week - Part 2

Sometime around our birthday this horrifying menace showed up.

It looks innocent here, but don't let it fool you. Mom and this vile beast go toe to toe. I often run for the hills, but one time I did stay, to protect Mom, but then I saw she could fend for herself.

Mom ripped its head off, and then she shoved things into it... I think she was trying to appease it with fruit and ice... and Margarita Mix.

For some reason I'll never understand, she then provoked it by jabbing her fingers at it. It got so angry, that it churned up her offering, showing it's dominance.

Mom couldn't seem to allow that... so she grabbed it by the neck and shook it. It got even angrier and gnawed on the offerings till they were unrecognizable.

Mom then wrestled its head off and drank the offering from a glass... with a small garnish, and a salted rim.

  7. Our mom got one of those too recently! And she drinks the mutilated stuff out of it too. She says, mmmmmm, so healthy. She says it makes her health shakes. As if she dominates it. We are glad the room it is in has the door shut most of the time. What if it jumped off the counter and...aaaaggghhh! can't even think about that.

  15. Um, could our mom come over for a visit after your mom has wrestled with this creature? :-P

    We have something similar, but it doesn't come out very often and then it's for breakfast smoothies--not nearly as interesting (to the mom) as the drinks your mom is making!

  16. Oh no, that machine is super scary. Our Mom has one of those too, but she doesn't use it much thank heavens. Those drinks do sound fantastic. Hope there aren't too many people knocking on your door for one of those results of that machine.
    We have a horror on today too.

  17. We have one of those beasts! We made mom put it away when they aren't doing battle. You should hear the cries that come out of it...we can hear it all over the house. Mom seems particularly pleased when frozen mango and tequila spill out of it's body.

    ::shudder::
