Pros and cons
- Mom spent multiple hours reading the new Stephen King book allowing for ample lap time on the con side she also spent multiple hours on that darn laptop cutting valuable lap time down.
- Mom downloaded said novel on Kindle to allow for one-handed book-holding/page-turning thereby freeing up other hand for petting (the good hand too) - on the con side she over-stimulated me with rough pets during a tense scene which caused a little bit of a bitey from me.
- Extra time for a bonus Petsmart trip - but on the con side they brought back nothing fun (Kitty litter).
- They put out the Chrismouse decorations (white feather theme!) but got bent outta shape when I whapped a few of the ornaments... crazy.
What is it with people and ornaments? If it looks like a cat toy, it's a ca toy. Therefore, you are allowed to play with the ornaments!
ReplyDeleteKitty litter may not sound like much fun...until you're OUT OF IT!!!!! So don't knock her too hard.
ReplyDeleteBut by all means, go ahead and knock the Christmas stuff around. It's our birthright as cats.
; ) Katie
The bitey is a good human training technique.
ReplyDeleteSeems like you can't win fur losing! Demerits may haf to be issued.
ReplyDeleteFin, I just got the Kitter Litter too ! and Extra Litter Box ! Yeah, who can have fun with those kind of things !
ReplyDeleteWhat, only kitty litter? We find that appalling--no treats or new toys! That alone would call for the bitey!
ReplyDeleteOur Mom brought home 3 HUGE litter bags. Can you imagine our disgust?
ReplyDeleteYou would think the parents would be happy with you noticing and therefore whapping the christmas ornaments. You got it right about them, Fin. CRAZY. Our Mom got all upset when she found that I ate a Christmas ornament string when she had her back turned for 30 seconds. You should have seen her wide smile when I pooped some "chrismas ornaments" of my own, string included.
....Cosmo
How dare your human make a trip to Petsmart and come back with just kitty litter?! Fin, that is an insult, and she should be glad that all she gets is a bitey or two from you.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that you're a fair feline, Fin. Weighing the pros and cons of everything. But she shouldn't have come back from Petsmart with just kitty litter. That's a major sin. purrr...meow!
ReplyDeleteAll they brought back from Petsmart is kitty litter. That is just norty. Good for you to bat the decorations around. What else are they for, anyway. Hope all of you have a really nice day.
ReplyDeleteFeather decorations were made to be whapped. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteFor christmas ornament read cat toy. They are just trying to dupe you, but you are much cleverer than they are, Fin !
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your extra mom time this week, Fin!! And go ahead and whap an ornament or two...they'll get over it!
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine what fevver decorations would look like at our house...after about an hour!
ReplyDeleteYour mom is LUCKY she doesn't live with us! She should appreciate you more Fin!
No treats from the PetSmart trip? That is not much fun, although the litter can be an impawtant thing!
ReplyDeleteFin we are weeping for you - no toy from the pet store. What a thoughtless Mum you have Fin - even ours is trained better than yours!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
What? No treats from PetSmart? Yoor mom needs re-training and fast.
ReplyDeleteThank yoo for coming to my gotcha celebration! Alfie xx
Our litter boxes were changed yesterday and I got a new toy! You need to use the bitey and get your human trained again!
ReplyDeleteha ha whap those decorations... leave it for a bit ...and then do it all over again!... no treats? Huh. lap time sounds nice though. Love Helen, Darcy, Bingley xxx
ReplyDeleteUs humans are slow learners, you need to be patient. We try to remember..If its dangling invitingly from a tree limb...its yours, if its on the floor..its yours, if its in a box with the lid off...well, then the whole box is yours, if it looks like food...its yours, if you want it...its yours. Have a wonderful week Fin!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhite feather theme and they expected you to leave it alone? Socks loves feathers he would have destroyed the decorations in no time flat.
ReplyDeleteFin, you gotta take the good with the bad...and get REVENGE! Just sayin.
ReplyDeleteMy humans wouldn't let us play with the ornaments either. It's our first christmas and we think if theres a tree in the living areas we should be able to climb it!
ReplyDeleteOur mom just got the new book for her Kindle too...so at least we know she won't be headed too far from home this long weekend. We usually have to give a bit of bitey when she is watching an intense show...and we can't wait until she goes to get a tree for "us" ;)
ReplyDeleteI must get my human one of those magic reader thingies. Course, I'm not fond of pets unless it's when she's nearly asleep and THEN I go on the bed mewling and chirruping so she can pet me madly while I head butt the head board! MOL.

Ms. Stella O'Houligan
White feather theme! Cool!
ReplyDeleteI put the bitey on my mom's hand whenever she tries to pick me up! I just won't lets her!
No treats! We thought you had your mom trained better than that.
ReplyDeleteTruffle and Brulee
Kitty litter is no fun so you were entitled to whap the ornaments.
