Flooflet Friday

Please weekend, start now!

It's been a hard week at our home office. Mom and I have been putting in the long hours. This morning I had to put an end to a conference call, that I thought had gone on too long, by pulling the receiver off the speaker phone. While Mom works on P&Ps (Policies and Procedures) I work on my own P&Ps (Pets & Purrs).

Last night I decided to moonlight in Dad's office. He was a little cross at me for knocking all his papers off the desk. Of course I made up for the naughtiness by playing peek-a-boo from behind the monitor. I am looking forward to a nice quiet weekend.

How about you friends? What do you have planned?

  2. My human's boyfriend is out of town, so she is probably going to spend the weekend taking photos of us kitties - in other words, we have to WORK this weekend!

  6. Hi Quill! It's wonderful to meet you! I must say you are the cutest little thing with obvious potential to be gorgeous!

I'm thinking you have some Maine Coon blood in you with those little tufts on your ears and your general overall look. If that is the case, you will become very floofy indeed -- and you're well on your way.

I'm so happy that Fin helped you and your Mommy get together. I think your Mom is wise to know that what is meant to be will be -- and you were certainly easy pickings.

I only heard about you from a comment on someone else's blog, and I'm so glad to find you here.

This is going to be good!

By the way, does your Mommy mind if you become a LOL-Cat sometime soon?

  7. Quill, I know that my sister Jonesie plans on gardening. I'm hoping for a few dirty socks to be left around so I can practice my arias....um...mom is going to take photos of Figgy because he lost more than a few furs at the groomer yesterday. Busy weekend!!!! Grete woofie will play with her ball.

    So much to do.

  12. Why, you are quite the office assistant! We think sending papers flying off desks is great fun, too...humans ought to try it sometime, we think they would understand if they did, hahameow!

  13. Mommy and Daddy are looking for a new house for me (they will live there, too) so I will probably just nap and watch the doings outside my window. I plan to get in a lot of snuggles with my mommy, too.

Your daddy should appreciate you trying to help him clean his desk by clearing the papers off.

    Love, Scout

  14. We will be sleeping a lot and resting. It's going to be hot and muggy here. Skootch likes to go in the dark bedroom closet when it's hot, and Lucy prefers the living room with the shades drawn, right near the AC.

We don't think your Mom or Dad could stay mad with you for very long. One look and they would melt. You just have to let them know you need to do these things and they will understand.
