Trouble Tuesday

I have to admit I am in a little bit of trouble friends. I noticed something the other day...

There's another world behind the window treatments!

I can see Mittens, birds, bugs, lizards and all kinds of stuff. Unfortunately those pesky shades, blinds and curtains are right in my way, so I gently push them aside to have a look.

Okay I might not be that gentle, but the shades are old... can anyone really prove I am responsible for damaging them? Sure I've been heard in the general area of the windows, and maybe they see some movement while I am around them... but surely an attorney at claw could dismiss this evidence.

Sure there was the photograph of me scaling the screen door, but it was clearly entrapment. Why else was Mom right there with the camera?

  1. You mean to say your peeps have the blinds down and the curtains drawn? What kind of kitten are you? Time to make DEMANDS! Squeak like you've never squeaked before!
    Or bite an ankle.

  4. She stood there with the camera and encouraged you to climb the screen? Where IS your attorney at claw? That's endangerment! MOL

  5. You are perfectly within your rights to move pesky shades any way you like.

And screen doors just beg for cats to scale them. i mean, what better way to play spider-cat????

  6. Don't admit to anything, Quill. You should definitely lawyer up, pal ... sounds like entrapment to us!

  7. We think "not me" was visiting your house before coming to our house.

  8. I think it is totally unfair that there are blinds between you and some good Bird TV! I say paw away!

  9. We kept pushing the blinds aside that our mom finally just moved them up so we wouldn't mess with them anymore. We can see out much better now without those pesky blinds in the way.

  10. Oh Quill, time to learn to "play" the blinds. A kitteh can make bee-yoo-tiful musik that way AND eventually teach your peep to raise them!

  11. I think you should reconsider Roman window treatment… It works for me... :D XOXO

  12. If your Mom brought bugs, birds and lizards inside for you to play with you would be too busy to look out the window. As to scaling the screen door we heard your Mom shouting "you can do it Quill"!.
We rest our case for the defence.

  13. Quill you really need to get some legal advice and a contract signed so you all know where you stand .... or climb!

  14. Be careful! They might try to connect you to the crime with circumstantial evidence and could get a conviction based on that.

I'd maintain a low profile for awhile if I were you.

  15. Blinds and curtains have no business covering windows when cats need to watch "cat TV"! Quill, you need to train your humans - remember "consequences"? They go both ways!

  16. Unbelievable, they closed all the window covers. That is just wrong. Just keep trying to look out and maybe they will make a nice place for you to look out at all the exciting things outside. Take care Quill. You can come live here any time you want.

  17. Quill, you have failed this step in human training! Humans are supposed to open blinds and curtains for you. Then you leave lots of black fur on the curtains :)

  20. Well windows are made to look out of and nothing should stand in our way!

  21. if those heartless jailers won't let you roam outside then the least, the very least mind you, they should do is make sure your view is completely unobstructed.

  22. WHAT! Cats can't live with blinds that goes all the way down!!! There must always be a kitty viewing area!

  23. Hi Quill! The 4 kitties on Viburnum Lane here. You have to train your humans to leave blinds open enough for kitty viewing. After bringing down the kitchen curtains and making beautiful music with the blinds, our humans always leave us a few inches for night viewing. Now we're trying to teach them to leave the same windows open so we can hear and smell everything that's going on outside. They keep whining about not heating, or cooling, the outdoors. They should have thought of that when they decided to have indoor only kitties! We need our nature enrichment stations, so open the windows woman!

  24. Oh my, sweet Quill, do you mean you have curtains too? Good thing Mom doesn't, I'd be really upset trying to see my birdTV and sometimes skunk TV. So she has to leave them up day and night....mol

  25. Well, if the human was just standing with the camera, without doing anything else, I guess that makes her an accomplice, right?
