The Diminutive Meower's Club

Quill here - I'd like to extend an invitation to join my new club. The Diminutive Meower's Club (DMC) is open to all kitties who prefer to speak softly - carrying a big paw is purely optional.

Who needs to make a lot of meows to be heard?

Do you prefer to issue a merr, squeak, or trill to get your point across? Maybe you prefer the silent meow accompanied by The Look? The DMC needs you.

Our meetings will be very short - as no one will have much to say aloud.

Greyson was a real meower when he arrived but he has taken my lead and now communicates with a series of hums and brrrrs. Excellent work buddy!

The password is squeak. Who's in?

  1. Dang, I have been known to belt it out. Guess I will have to practice.

  2. Wow, Leo might be in, if he can muster up a meow yes that is! He meowed when he first arrived, so he could find where I was and come running when I answered. But now, the most he does is make a little er-er-er-er to let me know when Star is giving him the stare down.
Star, on the other hand, is a loud mouth, she talks ALL the time!

  6. Binga could NEVER belong to your club, Quill - she is loud and whiny! I have a medium quiet voice - I speak softly unless there is a real need for me to raise my voice, like going to the vet or Binga being annoying. Boodie... I am not even sure what she does is meowing. It sounds more like space alien talk to me!

  7. As long as the going-to-the-vet fire siren doesn't count, I'm in!

  12. Oh, this is a good club for Elizabeth, who coos under her breath. (It makes me want to pick her up and kiss her every time.)

  13. Two Two is a triller, Mahoney whispers so those two sure could be part of your Club. Little Bit is very loud, so maybe not for her. We have lots more depending on how many you want. What a great idea for a nice quiet club. Hope all of you have a great day.

  17. I don't think you'd accept me in your club because SOMEONE has to use her
BIG DIVA VOICE to keep my human and Scully in line. ;-)

  18. Lisbeth would love to join. She rarely speaks. She has the eye thing going. The rest of us have pretty big mouths and don't mind using them. Let her know when a meeting is planned. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

  20. Count ME (Socks) in. I meows very softly and it is a very squeaky meow.

Scylla on the other hand is out. She is a screamer.

  21. Guess who's totally in? Yep, Kitshka.
We have barely heard her meow since she's there. When she was just a tiny kitten she would, from time to time, provoking a loud "awwwwwwwwwwww" from my human... But now she's all "charm is enough for me."
