So here's a little game you can play over at your place, if you'd like to join in. If you'd like to point out some of your human's goofy behavior you can post this little badge with honor or shame (or make your own badge of shame).
Here are the things I'd like to report on over here:- Mom sings goofy little songs like "Put your paws in the air, Me Me Me-Me-ow" with an accompanying hand gestures above her head, and a little hip action thrown in. I guess this is meant to imitate me politely requesting my meal, as if.
- Both of them pretending to bat at my cat toy to make me jealous and want to play too.
- Calling me goofy names like Tinkerfluff, Move It, and Moocharella.
All I can say is that they're lucky I can't take pictures.
And I thought my Mummy was embarassing!

ReplyDeleteMy Mom burst through a screen door and fell, almost crushing me in the process. She apparently thought I was going to jump up to the balcony ledge...what a weirdo! So I definitely feel your pain, Fin. I may have to borrow your badge.

Oh humans! Ours holds us in her lab when she's on the toliet (not that we didn't ask to jump up into her lap, mind you) and she dances round the living room with us (talk about "So You Think You Can Dance!" and she makes little nom nom nom sounds when she's making up our plate of canned food (but then she eats something else).

Oh, I could write a book...but then she does take care of me. Just the other day she was trying to take cute pictures of me rolling in the sun on the deck and she knocked over her wine glass...shattering glass everywhere. I had to be removed immediately and it totally ruined my time in the sun not to mention there are NO pictures to document my cuteness. My mother...I'm so ashamed...

Why does she do this? She named us. She knows who we are, but, the silly names seem to give her some sort of pleasure. Oh, sure, we come when she says them because there is always a treat in her hand ☺ when she begins to babble!
I think that all of us humans should be grateful that cats and dogs can't work the camera. This is a great idea and I hope to see lots of stories.

I could go on for days. It seems even worse out here in the country, it's like they lose touch with reality or something. Maybe they are bored or have had too many blackfly bites.

What a great idea Fin! All kitties are embarrassed by their hoomans at one time or anudder. But remember that they loves you, too -- that's why they act so funny. It's all about love!

ReplyDeletehehehe, that's so funny! Our Momma is funny, too. She sings at us and does funny little chants at us alla time, like "molecules of Ballicules, little molecules of Ballicules." We all have silly nicknames, too, and she also likes to meow at us. She sounds so much like a cat sometimes that we've gotta sniff her to make sure she's still a bean!
