Mom, I notice you're a bit late tonight. Why were you tardy?
Um, I had to stop at the store and pick something up...
I can't help but notice that there is a small scratch on your hand. It looks like it was given by a small furry animal, but that can't be right. Can it?
(In a guilty rush) Well we had to go to Petsmart to get your food, and your Dad and I noticed there was a cat that looked so much like you. She could have been a younger sister. She was really cute but very hissy, oh and this darling little tabby kitten was there too-
You played with kittens again! Well I'm glad it scratched you then.
Sorry Finny, I didn't bring any home...
You have to keep a firm paw friends. Hope you all have an awesome weekend. I really have no idea what the weather will do, but I'm hoping for some bird watching on the patio.
Since this is not the first time, you must find something of hers and treat it to a toothy death. Otherwise, she'll just keep doing it.
ReplyDeleteYour mum is really running amok these days. Time to put your floofy paw down.
ReplyDeleteHuffle Mawson
Is there a brother or a sister in your future Fin!?!
ReplyDeletePersonally I would be very mad if mom brought home a new kitten!
I think Mom and Dad should bring a new addition home--your kingdom will grow--and it might be fun...really...don't hiss at me, Fin....=^..^=
ReplyDeleteConsidering what I've had to deal with since I moved in 3 years ago...getting off with just the smell of kittens on her and a scratch is nothing Fin.
ReplyDeleteI've had to put up with Ginger, Cecilia, Bennette, Nigel and Grete moving in on my action...but I love them, cause that's just the way I am.
Your mom just won't learn, will she, Fin??
ReplyDeleteUmm Finny, do you think a sibling is coming any time soon? You always look extra-cute in your Floofy Friday post. Such cute pawsies!!!
ReplyDeleteAs long as she always comes home to you, Finny...
ReplyDeleteI warn you Fin, this is how it starts... first the photos of other cats... then the "I was just LOOKING" when they go out... next thing you know you have an obnoxious little brother usurping your place as king of the house and knocking you off your tower!!
ReplyDelete(but he is pretty fun to run with. And cuddle. And he's nice to have when mummy and daddy are at work)
~Inigo~
Hoomins. The NERVE of them!
ReplyDeleteAt least she didn't bring it home! Wonder when our beans are gonna stop bringing home these pesky foster kittens?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Humans are so bad...we're glad she didn't bring any home but you run a tight ship, Fin!
ReplyDeleteWe agree that you might need to watch out...they look, then they pet and then... ! (But would a friend be all that bad, Fin? And then you'd have someone to boss around in your own language! MOL)
ReplyDeleteYou look extra floofylicious today, Lady Floofington! Have a great weekend.
Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
Hmmm, I hate to break it to you Fin, but I think you are going to end up being a big sister...
ReplyDeleteOh Fin. I love your floofy fridays! They go straight to my heart! <3
ReplyDeleteYou sure are one very floofy kitty, Fin! Your mom will learn one of these days, maybe.
ReplyDeleteWe couldn't agree with you more, Fin. We are tellin' our momma all the time that we are enough for her to ♥. Momma doesn't come home scratched but she sure comes home smellin' like she's been somewhere, ifyourknowwhatwemean☺
ReplyDeleteOh yes...kittens. So cute, so adhesive. They just get stuck to you, y'know, and then.... Look out Fin! ;-)
ReplyDeleteFin, look at it this way -- your mama sufFURed the natural consequences of her actions -- in other words "Katma"! Katma came back to scratch her.
ReplyDeleteFin
ReplyDeleteWe have trained Momma real well. She knoos better!

Are yoo a thorny-olo-jist then?
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a very close call, Fin!
ReplyDeleteYou might get a new brother!
ReplyDeleteCindy
Hey Fin,
ReplyDeleteBoy are you a spoiled little B*%#$h. We've got 3 cats and 10 dogs pawing to the front of the line for attention. Mom says that there's enough love for everyone. We do check here out though when she gets home from work at Confederate Ridge Animal Hospital as an LVT intern. We make her wash her scrubs everynight to get rid of stranger dog and cat stinks.

Fin, just keep telling yourself "at least she didn't bring one home", and hopefully that will make you feel a bit better! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a sisfur or brothfur
ReplyDelete:(
Its maybe nice when you Momma takes a little sis :)
The good news about your mom's cheating is that since she is hanging out at a pet supply store, she has to buy pet supplies as her excuse for being there which could result in you getting more toys and treats.
ReplyDeleteHmm, there seems to be a lot of kitten petting going on lately. Maybe you are right to be worried.
ReplyDeleteOur mum came in tonight smelling of woofie. We were not impressed.
Beans are weak when it comes to beautiful cats and kittens. They think they have to pet all of them I think. We're glad you still have your place to yourself though.
ReplyDeleteThey were at it again? Humph!
ReplyDeleteOh Finny! This hasn't been the first time, has it? It sounds like your Mom is getting broody again? Awww bless! Kitty xxx
ReplyDeleteI loved your picture =)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend !
Humans. What can you do...
ReplyDeleteWe got a visit from a kitten. It visited us, not the humans!
At least your mom did not bring AnyCat home like my mom does.

Thank you for visiting my blog and your lovely comment. My Lucy would hate it if I brought home another cat so I know how you feel!

Ut-oh! Are you sure there is not a kitty in a sack from the store?
