Mousey Monday

It was very cold and rainy here this weekend. Perfect snuggle weather. I was so excited to spend some serious snuggle time with Mousey, and that is when things turned scary.

Mousey was missing. I searched high and low, meowing for him the whole time.

It was very upsetting. It took almost a full day of my meowing before my parents realized there was a serious problem that required a family intervention. Mom joined in the hunt by lifting anything on the floor and Dad was on look under furniture duty.

Mom finally uncovered him, tucked in a shoe, with a towel over top, on the closet floor. The world was right once again. Of course I played it very cool and acted like it was no big deal that he had been missing, but he knows how much he means to me.

  4. Don't you hate it when you hide something really, really well for safekeeping... and then you can't remember where you hid it?

  5. See, Fin, this is how it is. No one is gonna fall for this. We know who put beloved Mousey in the shoe.

With no other puppies or kittens in your house to blame...the spotlight is on you my furriend.

It's time you let Mittens move in.

  9. Oh Fin, I empathize. When Mousey goes missing, I get very concerned. I'm constantly looking underneath the furniture and appliances trying to find him. Marmie or Diddy always has to help me fish him out though.

  12. Oh wow Finny that is so kind of your Mummy and Daddy to help you look for mousey, but it sounds like you had to wait quite a while. It would be nice to see more pictures of you and mousey together.

  14. Oh Fin, my heart goes out to you. I know how desperate you must have been feeling when you couldn't find mousey. Last week I couldn't find Scruffy and I hunted high and low, then mum found him in the cube where Flynn nas hoarded all his toys. I was so relieved to find him again that I forgot to swat Flynn.
