Do you ever get a case of The Blahs? We have em. Nothing is wrong. Just blah.
I have a knot in my floofy tocks that Mom can't help trying to get out every time I try to get a little love. Sigh. If I see those little scissors in her hands - I'm out.
I'm a little fussy about what I feel like eating too. I'm eating, but not with my usual gusto cause it's the same old. My usual food is getting all the gravy licked off and then I demand my other flavor of choice.
It's hot and humid here. Sigh. No one wants to hang out on the porch.
My Garden is not looking it's best. Sigh. Sun 2 Squash 0. Hoping that everything will perk up again when the Hots take a break.
Mom had a Frecklectomy last Thursday and although we're sure it's fine, she's anxious to hear the results. Sigh.
What about you friends, do you have The Blahs? I think we need a little fun around here. We're going to put our heads together.
We, too haf em! It's cuz of the hots, mama says. No break in sight fur us! Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteEven though it has been hot here until today, we haven't been very blah-ridden! It's that time of year when the crickets are running, and that has been livening things up lots!
ReplyDeleteIt's always hot here, Fin. So...yeah...blah blah blah.... har har har *evil laughs*
ReplyDeleteIn UK we get a variation on the blahs called the bleahs! We don't get the heat, but we like to bleah anyway! >^,,^<
ReplyDeleteHope the blahs go soon x
AH the blahs...well, there are always new toys, or if you are human, a road trip. I guess you wouldn't enjoy a road trip though.
ReplyDeleteThe blahs hang out here too once in awhile. Not fun, those things. A good nap helps or a fun swim. The PM had a chunk taken out of her last year at this time and was a worryknot too. This getting older business is blah producing sometimes.
ReplyDelete{hugs}
We are sending purrs for yoor blahs! It's not hot here ~ sort of medium warm comfortable ~ so we don't have the blahs!
ReplyDeleteWe get the blahs, but more so in winter, though almost 100-degree heat doesn't do much for us either. The mom can get the blahs anytime, but that's 'cause she has other things going on.
ReplyDeleteWe hope your blahs pass soon and that your mom's "freckle" test comes back negative!
We have the blahs because our litterbox room is still not done...so it's a pain. It also rained yesterday...no sun.
ReplyDeleteBlahmeow.
Purrs,
Cory
Mom agrees - something about the hots gives us the blahs. But...if you really want some excitement, we could loan you a couple of wild kittens?? MOL
ReplyDeleteI can relate to the gravy licking off problem. First Fuzz was doing it, then Sweetpea started in, too. Could it just be a heat thing?
ReplyDeleteIt's all blah here too! Coz, it's HAZY! And the air smells awful too. We are waiting for the rains to come and wash it all away.
ReplyDeleteDear Fin,
ReplyDeleteTo beat my blahs, me is going to George Clooney's B-Day Bash for Lil Em! That should be fun!And Liven things up!
Kisses
Nellie
Fin, we pray the test for the freckles comes back just fine and the blahs goes away very soon. Holly and the kitties are just laying around here looking really blah with this heat and humidity and staying inside or driving a really hot car is blah for sure. Lots of love, Debbie & Holly
ReplyDeleteEvery one here had them too, but we finally got a break in the hot and have a nice cool breeze, now everyone is playing and wanting their catnip and lemon grass and they are playing with dot...at least until this weekend when we are back to the 90s, then it will be blah again. Keep cool Fin!! :)
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well with your Mom!!!! Its hot here to (Maryland) but the AC is keeping us cool. Remember its ok to feel Blah sometimes! Sending extra love, hugs and purrs from Tuxee, Itty Bits, Baby and Cheesecake!
ReplyDeleteAw Finny, we think it's the heat. We haven't been very hungry either...in fact, we hardly move all day. Summer is winter and it's time to hibernate. Or estivate, Mommy says.
ReplyDeletePurrs for the freckleotomy being nothing...we're sending our best luvvins.
WE too sure hope the freckleotomy comes back all good. Sometimes we get the blahs too especially with this heat. We don't eat a lot nowadays. We are sending tons of purrs for you to get over the blahs and come up with something fun to do. Take care and find some fun.
ReplyDeletewe get the blahs quite frequently!
ReplyDeleteToday it is nice and cool but we are supposed to get some super hot weather this weekend.
I like it in the 70s like it is right now.
I hope your freckleotomy comes out well too! I should have one of those!
xoxoxo
Yep, we get the blahs around here, too. Need to find a way to inject a little silly into the day.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well with the biopsy. My mom just had one last week, so I get the "anxious even though we're confident" part.
The Blahs happen to the best of us, we can relate. And if it's hot on top of that... Better chillax until a fun idea forms. Paws crossed for the results of the freckletomy.
ReplyDeleteNoselicks!
Yep, the hots and blahs just seem to go together! Many purrs to Mom for good results!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Fin...the hots seem to bring on the blahs. We need to have some fun!!
ReplyDeleteI've got an idea that may take away some of your blahs:
ReplyDeleteMom Paula is back. There is a new website for the future kittens that I'd love for you to see!

Mom Paula
The blahs are worse than anything else since there is nothing really wrong just that all the toys have been played with and the food is the same.
ReplyDeletePurring that your Mom's freckle is just that a freckle.
We have the blahs too. It is not hot but is very humid and we won't eat our food. Mum bought us a box of different flavours and we told her it was delicious, so she bought 4 more boxes and we told her it tastes like poison and no way are we eating it.
ReplyDeleteWe hope the frecklectomy result comes back good.
The hots give us the blahs, too, Finny! Purring and praying that your mom's results come back "good."
ReplyDeleteSorry you have the blahs, Fin. Hot + Humid = BLAH. We have had our own share of that lately. Hold out for some good food...lay on a guilt trip or two. Things will get better.
