It's been so hot that my parents scurry into the house and try to stay inside as much as possible. So my porch time has been cut down to the minimum. Just trying to stay cool by lots of drinking, um, water that is.
Overall we've been pretty luckily this Summer, as it's normally this hot for most of July and parts of August. This time of the year Mom begins to wonder why we live in the desert.
We can't wait for Autumn..
When a grannycat can lounge on her porch without worrying about burning her asterisks on the cement. Have a great weekend friends, and try to stay cool. If you live somewhere cold, please feel free to contact me for a sun swap.
Sorry, we can't swap you any good weather, Fin. But we can tell you that we luf that bellah shot! Stay cool! xoxo
ReplyDeleteTUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!
ReplyDelete*smooch*
It finally got hot here! Not that I've notched much with the air conditioning.
ReplyDeleteWOW that is hot! I won't ask for a sun swap if that's ok. It's been hardly above 70f here all summer and I like it that way!
ReplyDeleteNice view of your floof, Fin xx
WOW! That is a lot of floof!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing you've got so much floof, Fin. Otherwise we think that cement might be a little hot on your back!
ReplyDeleteGlad you get a little sun time in but we're gladder still that you can go inside and cool off when you want.
Oh Good Fin's floof to get us through the week end. Now we will be all right. We are enjoying a tiny bit cooler weather right now so the letter must have done a little good. We wouldn't object to you writing another one though. Wishing all of you a great week end with cooler temps. Take care.
ReplyDeleteIt's wet and cold here today Fin - in fact just the perfect August summer weather in the UK!! How we wish we could join you for a roll on your porch - sigh.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Finny, that is a great tummy floof shot.
ReplyDeleteStay cool Fin!!! We don't think we would survive livin' in the desert - it has been hot enough here in ohio this summer.... Autumn can't come soon enough for us!
ReplyDeleteWe are totally ready for SNOW at the moment!!
ReplyDeleteIt has been HOT HOT HOT here this week too and wes don't has air conditioning and to make it worse - Mommy and Daddy cans all week for the Farm Market!

ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
The weather here has been rainy. It's cool, but wet. Is that okay?
ReplyDeleteWe live where it's usually hot, too, FIn. Needless to say, we're also looking forward to the fall when the cement won't burn our little toes :)
ReplyDeleteWe will swap you some hurricsne for some desert, Finny.
ReplyDeleteLook at the beautiful floof!!! It's hot here too! Have a great weekend! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly
ReplyDeleteStay cool, Fin! If you want, you can teleport over to our island...it's supposed to be nice...around 80 degrees...you can chill out!
ReplyDeleteYou know you are always welcomed here - does get down to about 50F though. Umm, with that floooofy belly you may want to go home pretty soon as SS would definitely not leave you alone.
ReplyDeleteI love your floofy belly! We would take some of your sun as we are preparing for lots of rain from Irene!
ReplyDelete115F! It sounds seriously hot! It's been around 90F here lately...we can't wait for autumn, either.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great tummy shot!
Oh my cat, 115 is way too hot for ANY cat, granny or otherwise! I hope you don't burn your asterisks and can stay cool. I'm not really looking forward to autumn because that means mean old WINTER won't be far behind!! My kitties and I hate winter more than any hot day in summer.
ReplyDeleteWeather has been all over the place this year. It is furry annoying for this kitty, but this floofy fix is very happy.
ReplyDeleteWe were in a weather pattern called "ring of fire" for much of the summer...It feels just like it sounds. We are not at all pleased with Mr. GW's work. Good luck on your sun swap. It sounds like a brilliant idea.
ReplyDeleteOh Ms. Fin! YES! I won your book!!! I'm so stoked! Now after I read it I will highlight impawtant areas that That Woman needs to read and take NOTES on! One by one dear Fin, we shall take over the world!!
ReplyDeleteIf you could pawtograph it and make it out to Ms. Stella that would be the cats MEOW!
THanks!
xoxo
Ms. Stella O'Houligan
You should come stay with me Finny! It's still winter here.
ReplyDeleteIt was lovely here today, in the mid-70's with a nice breeze all day. I'll try to send it your way!
