Closet Inspection

Mom: Fin? Finny? Where are you?

Fin: Psst, Mom. I'm in here.

Mom (Opening the closet door): In here? I don't see you?

Fin: Over here, behind the laundry basket, and Dad's pants.

Mom: What are you hiding from?

Fin: Hiding? I'm not hiding.

Mom: Well you're late for breakfast, it's almost 5:30am. Why don't you come out?

Fin (Whispering): Can you bring my breakfast in here?

Mom: No! Hey your not scared of the rain and thunder are you?

Fin: No! I'm just catching up on my closet inspection duties. Is the storm over yet?

Mom: Yep.

Fin (Running past Mom to kitchen): Let's go Mom! The day is practically over!

  7. It's a rule that all closet inspection duties have to be carried out during a storm.

  8. LOL! Fin, in our house it's our mom who would be hiding in the closet during a storm. :-)

  9. Oh Fin, Mom needed that laugh this morning. She has had a very sad morning. Dora, the little black kitten had to go to the bridge this morning and we don't know why. Take care.

  16. Finny, we're with ya on this one! Only Salem and The Baby are brave enough to perform rain inspection.

    As opposed to UTB inspection.

  22. Fin it's ok to admit you are afraid of thunderboomies and lightning...we are too but we figure as long as mom isn't hiding in the closet or under the bed, it's all ok.

  24. We had tree cutters at our house yesterday and they raised quite a racket.
Although we are pretty goosie we actually peeked out the windows at the strange monsters climbing trees with chain saws.
Our eyes were as big as dinner plates for the rest of the evening.
