Guess what? I discovered I am nocturnal!
All this time I have been turning in at night when my parents went to bed. A couple of nights ago I woke up in the middle of the night - full of energy! I brought my toys into bed and thrashed around on Mom. It was hard to settle back down.
Last night, I had attacked all the body parts in the open air. Did I mention I have a double row of fang teeth right now? Yeah! Cool huh? Where was I? Oh right...
I was still ready for business - I'd had a long nap in the afternoon. I did my patrol around the house and I noticed a plastic bag on the floor. I carried it into the bedroom, and played on for almost 10 minutes before Mom got up to take it away.
I realized all the stuff I get in trouble for doing while my parents are awake - I can do for much longer in the middle of the night! I whacked at the plastic wand for the mini-blinds for almost twenty minutes before Mom got up again. What fun!
Good Night? You bet!
That smile? Satisfaction!
Dad's started calling me Night Quill.
Have a great weekend Friends! I know I will!
NIGHT QUILL????? BUAUAHAHAHAHA!!
ReplyDeleteOMG that is so awesome!!!
And that picture is positivly squeelicious!
Oh you PRECIOUS darling looking baby! XXXXX
ReplyDeleteLooking at that picture, it is impossible to believe you could do anything remotely bad.
ReplyDeleteJust WAIT. Nocturnal naughtiness is only the START of the "badness"! May we suggest looking UP? Like the counters?
ReplyDeleteI totally snorted at 'night quill'.
ReplyDeleteLittle Clyde finally got rid of his double fangs. I love seeing them, if he would have held still for more than a nano second I would have gotten a photo. Maybe you'll have better luck. I suggest when 'NQ' is sleeping.
xoxo
That Woman
You mean all this time, you've only been doing this stuff during the day!? You really are new, aren't you, Quill?
ReplyDeleteNight Quill (we love that name for you!), the fun is just beginning!!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, sweet, INNOCENT, Quill. The pawsibilities are endless!
ReplyDeleteIt's better to snuggle up with your mommy at night. But a little play time doesn't hurt.
ReplyDeleteLove, Scout
MOL! Well, I guess there's a reason for that self-satisfied smile and the day time nap!
ReplyDeleteWhat a smile!
ReplyDeleteWe love your satisfied smile!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha!! NightQuill, that's brilliant!
ReplyDeleteIf you aren't careful Quill your be a double "B" for Banished from the Bedroom.

Night Quill....hahaha - only with the opposite results. :)
ReplyDeleteYup, night frolics can be VERY interactive, bonding experiences with the pawrents.
ReplyDeleteWord to the Mom. Mancats don’t grow out of it!!!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness Night Quill, that is too much. Sounds like you are having such a good time at night. Maybe Mom needs to give you a job in the afternoon so you sleep at night. We do that sometimes too. We go in the bedroom in the middle of the night and walk all over the Person and just play with her toes etc.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you have a great week end too.
The human luf yer name, Night Quill! She think that real funny.
ReplyDeleteI'm a night kitty, too. I find a nice dark place ta sleep most of da day. The human is relieved I don't play wif toys all night :)
I think every kitty is a night owl because they can have so much more fun being naughty, and it takes a lot longer for the beans to interrupt them. You are doing it right!
ReplyDeleteNight Quill, so funny! Kitty is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a happy and well deserved smile Quill!
ReplyDeleteOh! Yous knows, even for a old lady, me still likes to plays in the middle of the night! Purrticularly "Great thundering herd of Wildebeest" and whaterver crinkles!

Night Quill! LOL! That's a good one. You might have to give him some so you can get a good night's sleep. (Just kidding)
ReplyDeleteNight Quill? More like that's what the humans need if you're going to be nocturnal! MOL!! SCORE!
ReplyDeleteFaRADaY: An' I can purrsonally attest to how much fun it is to burrow under the covers while they snore and NIP them in the leg. Man can they jump! MOL!!
By the way, I am a good 2 years older than you but I bring toys to bed and play with them in the night time TOO. Mom is thrilled I can tell by the arm movements and weak words of encouragement.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture of you! You are such a cutie! We love the new nickname too! I love whacking blinds against the window frame so much that Mommy finally replaced the blinds with ones made completely of paper (since she was pretty sure I would climb curtains), so she could get some sleep. We are very impressed by your nocturnal projects, but we have a feeling you might need to find quieter ways to occupy your time if you want to keep your nighttime bedroom access.
ReplyDeleteAh ah ah! Have the humans started consuming more coffee in the morning? ;-)
ReplyDeletePurrs
You are learning well Quill. Everything is so much more fun in the middle of the night.
ReplyDeleteBet you having lots of fun a night playing hard. Does this wake up the folks? Hope you get lots of zzzzs in the day so you can play all night long.
ReplyDeleteOh my, did Angel Fin leave instructions for your nocturnal games?
ReplyDeleteThankyou for coming by to visit on MoMo's first birthday at the bridge? Wonder if she and Fin were celebrating there. They certainly have enough old friends there to have a ball.
Night Quill?? Gotta Love THAT! Look how big you're gettin'! And the smile--melted my human... :)
