Mom's still sickly. She's been snoozing like it's her job since Friday. She's been so dedicated to it you'd think she was getting paid by the hour.
I know it's my job to nurse her back to health with lots of purrs. So I have been busy. We get up just to use the litter box (Course Mom uses her equivalent), stretch out the limbs, maybe grab a snack and then right back to it.
She's started coughing- barking is more like it. She sounds like some kind of terrier.
When the snoring gets too loud I sneak out for a bit to sleep in my tub. Get in a little playtime with Dad and Ratty.
I mean they say you have to take of yourself first when you're a caregiver.
Quill, we sure your mom really appreciates you taking good care of her. We hope she feels better soon.

ReplyDeleteGood for you Quill taking such good care of your Mom. We sure hope she feels better really soon. Sending lots of purrs to her. Take care.
ReplyDeletethat's what they say Quill! Hoping your Mom feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteyes and never let her forget how diligent you were. Remind her that she should give you extra treats when she's better. You can send subhuminal messages direct to her brain by sitting on her pillow while she's sleeping and quietly whispering 'give quill treats...give quill treats...etc". Works a treat! When she awakens she will have a overwhelming desire to give you lots of treats and you will both feel better about that!
