Mom: Quill you're getting a ton of spam...

Quill: Really?

Mom: Yeah, a bunch.

Quill: Sounds good.

Mom: What?

Quill: Spam sounds yummy. A hammy treat in a can - I'll give it a try.

Mom: Sadly it's not that kind of Spam. It's people offering you loans and Cialis...

Quill: Maybe I can get a loan to buy some Spam?

    Mom has our blog set to go to comment moderation 5 days after a blog post goes up. Blogger recognizes some of the spam and filters it out, but some of it is caught by this system.

    You don't want that sort of spam Quill. Blogger doesn't seem to be catching as much as it once did, so we changed our settings to not allow anonymous comments. It seems to be working.

    Oh yeah, we don't allow annonymouse comments and put moderation on after 4 or 5 days. That keeps the worst of it down. Plus mum has a good spam filter on the email box.
