Happy Birthday Quill!!

Mom here. Today(ish) my sweet Quill turns two! I can hardly believe it.

For those of you that are new here at the H.C. you may not know that Quill did not have an easy start in life. He was one in a litter of three kittens, born to a stray Momma cat.

Across town, our hearts were breaking, knowing our time with our beloved angel Finny was drawing near. When she passed we were devastated, but I knew that she would help us to find the perfect girl kitty to take over her duties. Fin, as always, had other plans, like sending us a boy.

When Quill was about five weeks old the delightful rescuer Kacie captured the litter of kittens and gave them a chance at a better and safer lives. She taught them that humans were kind and loving and houses came with lots of great things - like curtains to climb.

I think I'll tell the rest of the story on Quill's Gotcha Day. For now, enjoy some e-nip, e-cake and e-treats - just watch out for Greyson. There are plenty of pipe cleaners to play with, just look under the furniture.

I love this picture. He was a little tired and scared and came over to get some reassurance and cuddles from Mom.
