i've always been amazed at how kittehs will drink dirty water over what's in their dish. must be a taste thing.

Water in my fountain is undrinkable. Obviously yours is much nicer. I prefer fresh rain water, which is plentiful lately.
Like Momo, Ginger has been going after the rain water...she only wishes we had a pond.
Water always tastes best when it's anywhere EXCEPT in a water bowl!

You are so very lucky to have such a huge kitty water dish!
Outdoor water is so much better. We like it from the horse troughs the best, especially from the fields that the horses aren't in, cuz it gets all nice and green too.

It takes a very special cat to heave such a huge impressive drinking bowl.
Also a good place to regurgitate should that pond water come back on you! LOL!

I'm a very particular kitty, and this does not appeal to me.at.all.
Some kitties like their water moving! Some smelling. Some both!

I like pool water with heavy accent of chlorine...hehehe...snowee
