- I am now sleeping on the new big bed. I found it comfy, firm and yet plush.
- The big bed is loud. I guess it's the allergy cover. It makes it hard to sneak up on Mom... not that any cat here does that.
- I am STILL waiting for Feather the Third to arrive!!
- Dad has been leaving food and water for Mittens outside on My Porch, but there has been no recent snuggling between them.
- Mittens is still scared of Mom and runs when he sees her. I think it was all the times she scared him away, afraid he would hurt me.
- My book is still available, and humans and kitties are enjoying it. I think it's a perfect Summer read, or a Fall read, or a Winter read, or a Spring read.
- I hear whispers my Crackpot Vet checkup is coming up.
- I am still shedding, and knotting. Really when am I knot.
- Dad is still an excellent petter. Mom is a quality chin scritcher.
- Mom has started to write her second book, which has nothing to do with cats (why bother, I say).
- I haven't yet found a way back on the kitchen counters, but I am working on it.
- I have found my way back on the Dining Table so all hope is not lost.
I am only gonna put down 12 things on Thursday Thirteen, cause I'm a rule breaker. Oh I guess that is the 13th... Mom is still looking for the camera, so this is an old pic. Yep 14, I feel better now.
Doing well, there, SIF! Good luck with your mom's book. My SS only writes papers. You'd think that would be easy, wouldn't you? No, she works day and night on it. She must be dumb!

ReplyDeleteWhat?! Your human is writing a NON-cat book?!?! How dare she! My human has been talking with some guy about a book project (nothing about cats) and I am currently trying to figure out a way to ruin her plans. If you have any ideas on how to do that, I would love to hear them.

ReplyDeleteWe think you do know the way up on to the counter Fin but you're letting your mom think she's won - just to tease her for a while before the grand surprise!!! We expect she'll be pleased to see you up there again cos she will be missing the paw prints and she'll be getting withdrawal symptoms.

Fin, you need to sit on your mom while she writes that 2nd book...somehow I think there will be a cat character working it's way into the story...one that is quite like you. I'm sure of it.

Mom is reading your book (she is a very slow reader) and she took it to her doctor's appointment the other day since she knew she would have to wait. She said she was laughing out loud when reading some of it and people were looking at her but she didn't care. The book is great!!! Lots of love, Holly and mom
