Finny: Mom! Mom! Wake Up!
Mom: Uh? What? Fin! What time is it?
Finny: You know I don't tell time... but it's like an hour before my breakfast and two hours before you have to get out of bed.
Mom: 3:30! For the love of Cod! What do you want?
Finny: Get the camera! I yakked up a furball as big as a mouse!
Mom: Oh great... why would I take a picture of that?
Finny: For the blog of course! I've been working on this one for days, and I'm sure my friends will be impressed. Come on, it's right in the middle of the hallway, you can't miss it, literally, heh, heh.
Mom: I'm not taking a picture of that. How about a cute picture of you instead?
Finny: Meh, whatever. You know, I'm not feeling my best, I think I'm gonna just take a long nap.
Mom: Okay sweetie, feel better okay. I'm gonna set you up with some yummy hairball meds.
Finny: That always makes me feel better. Thanks Mom.
I think a pikh of both might have been khool too!
ReplyDeleteHugz&Khysses,

Furballs ALWAYS seem to be in the middle of hallways or the middle of the bed or the middle of the kitchen...never off to the side or in the corner...why is that?
ReplyDelete3.30 !!!! You beat me Fin !
ReplyDeleteI normally wake my mom about 4 .
Your mom was so lucky ! earlier is better : )
OMC, 3.30AM for a hairball? My SS would make me swollow it back.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason Mom gets upset if she wakes up hearing me hacking up a hairball on the bedroom rug. Then Dad leaps out of bed and there is all kinds of fuss with the Bissell sucker upper masheen. They can't seem to just leave it till morning.
ReplyDeleteAnd they NEVER see fit to take a pikh of my hairball. And sometimes it is so beautiful and sausage-like and huge. I don't get it.
WE are glad you brought up the hairball, just not sure about the timing. Think about mum and her sleep!!!
ReplyDeleteWe demand to see a pic of the hairball ~ it sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteGood one FIN! I have never had any fur-balls because I'm what they call 'short hair' which makes NO sense b/c it's FUR as you know, not hair . . . humans! Anyway, good work on putting it right in the middle of the hall!! You are so smart.
ReplyDeleteDid you measure the yak point up Fin so it couldn't be missed by a bare foot - great idea! Well if she forgot and trod in it later that's your mom's lookout cos you gave her fair warning!!
ReplyDeleteWe want to see the hairball too!! We're sure it was very impressive.
ReplyDeleteFin, you really need to whap your mom for not taking a picture of that hairball...I mean, it sounds REALLY impressive. It could have ended up in the hairball hall of fame!!!
ReplyDeleteFin, you are so nice to wake you mom up and tell her about it. The kitties here never do and then mom goes stumbling out of bed and steps in it. Never fails. You are a great kitty Fin! Lots of love, Holly and mom
ReplyDeleteFinny Tummy Floof! Squeee!!!! goes the Mom.
ReplyDeleteWe're sure it was the mother of all hairballs, Fin! Can't understand why your mom wouldn't take a snapshot of that!
ReplyDeleteWe wants to see the hairbawl!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour awesome Fin!
Love TK
I yak up some awesome furballs what with my long furs. I'll ask mommy to take its picture next time.
ReplyDeleteWe wanted to see the hairball you yakked up, Fin. But seeing you is even better.
ReplyDeleteWell, for my slightly squeemish human bean, it's probably ok you didn't show your hairball! And it was nice of you to warn your human bean of the mess.:)
ReplyDeleteyou reminded Mom, we all need our hairball goop, 1/2 of us love it, 1/2 of us hate it!
ReplyDeleteFin that was certainly good of you to tell Mom about the hairball rather than just letting her step in that mess.So we think you were right to wake her up. Hope you feel better now. Take care.
ReplyDeleteHey Fin!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've mastered the art of proper hairball placement. ...right where she can step on it. Good going! ... or should I say good yakking!
mew!

As big as a mouse? Wow! Once Chilli threw up and it looked like a giant dog's pooh. Mom did take a picture but didn't post it in the end. Moms!
ReplyDeleteOh...that stretchy pose reminds us of your old header, but now since you are an authoress, you have to act a little more 'reserved and demure'? Or maybe not...
