Tattle Tale Tuesday

Did you see yesterday's post? Go ahead look back, I'll wait.

I'm sure you've noticed a certain black multi-paw-toed cat has staged a blog take over. First Mittens took over the front yard. I was understanding. I have been given so much, why not let Mittens have the front yard and all the leftovers I don't like.

Then he started moving in on my parents, my porch, and inviting friends over. I struggled with allowing this infraction and was trying to go with a "as long as I don't see it" policy. I'm not heartless.

But now this! My Nip, My Toys and My Blog! That cat has no boundaries, no manners! Don't let that slick, southern gentlecat routine fool you. He is a cad and a scoundrel.

In other news, Mom finally allowed herself to be lured into the Human Vet. We managed to bundle her up in the Prisoner Transport Unit with little fuss. Yes, she is STILL sick. So several "itises" later she is now on medication. Hopefully my Nurse Fin duties will be over soon. I'm spent. No wonder a certain black cat thinks he can take over the place.

Watch out bub. I'm coming back!

  1. Better watch out Finny...pretty soon Mittens will be selling himself as "nurse Mittens"...trust me...I've seen it happen before.

  2. Clearly Mittens is taking advantage of your attention being elsewhere, Fin! I told him yesterday he was going to have to watch his behind.

  4. Fin, in the book Art of War, in order to understand our enemies better, we must get close to him/her. In this case, lure Mittens into this false sense of safety, and then....do whatever you like to him. har har har *evil laughs*

  5. Fin, perhaps the itises have affected the Mom's brain, and once she is better, she will realize the error of her ways with Mittens. Certainly allowing Mittens an entire blog post to herself was crossing the line.

  8. Finny much as we hate to say it, the last thing a sick mommy needs is a ruckus among us kitties. Indulge her a bit, sweetie. You´ve been so good to Mittens already a bit more of the If-I-don´t-see-it-it´s-not-there policy can´t hurt.

  11. Mittens is furry crafty getting his paws on your porch while you are tied up with your nursing responsibilities caring for your Mom. We hope the human vet didn't stick a needle in her neck and a thermometer in the unmentionable spot - although it would be nice for a human to know how degrading that is and spread the word to the mums and dads.
Hop your mom feels better soon

  12. Fin - you know you will always be first in the heart of your mom. It won't hurt too much to share a little (but JUST a little).

  15. We are sending tons of purrs that Mom feels better soon. Good job Fin getting mom shoved into the PTU and to the vet. We sure hope the medicine works.
Now, that darn Mittens. That was a little forward of her to get on your blog. We just can't allow that very often. Either that or maybe she could be a friend Fin. Friends are good. But we stand behind you all the way Fin. Give Mom a hug for us.

  27. Be vigilant, Fin. Next thing you know he'll be in your house, sleeping in YOUR bed! I know 'cause that's exactly that happened with that pest, Gino.
