Floofy Friday

I don't know how a short holiday week can be so tiring.

Maybe it's trying to cram all those naps into a shorter week?

Luckily I have my nip pillow.

Summer is finally expected to arrive this weekend. 100+ degrees expected, darn dessert! My porch time is going to be cut down to the nub. I've been busy shedding and grooming to prepare. Naturally I've been busy exploring the counter. Yes it's been a full week friends.

What do you have planned this weekend? Whatever it is, I hope you all have a great time and make sure you take good care of yourselves. See you back here next week!

  7. Oh poor Fin, we sure hope you can catch up on your napping and get back up on the counter. You must be totally exhausted from sneaking up there.
Our plans are like yours, lots of napping because it is supposed to be really hot here too. Got to stay in the cool house.

  12. I think you have hit the nail on the head about why short weeks are so tiring.

Whiskerati have a very good suggestion there to beat the heat of the day. I am sure Mom will appreciate it.

  14. Mom's don't realise that every time they make us get down from the counter we use extra energy to get back up - abd then they wonder while we're always asleep!!! They really should use their grey matter more (we would have said brains but in our Mum's case grey matter is more fitting!!)
    Have a relaxing weekend

  18. Fin, Sometimes it's plain hard work to be so floofy and gorgeous. Our humans don't always understand how tiring it can be. And when you look so cute doing something, like resting your head on your nip pillow, it just makes sense to do it all the more.

  19. Fin,
Now that it's so dang HOT, ask (demand!) for your nip pillow to be placed on the cool counter. Then you can rest in absolute comfort.

And possibly a ceiling fan on "low" to gently ruffle your furs and stir up any loose ones.

  29. Fin,

We gave you an award...and it only has 4 rules! How about that?

We are sprawling on the cool tile alternating with baking on the hot concrete. Life is Good, isn't it?
