I'm sure it's no surprise to many of you that I run a pretty tight ship around here. I like routine and I don't like chaos. So last week was a bit rough for me. Mom's schedule was off and Dad's schedule was too.
My strict bedtime schedule for them was not followed, my wake up schedule was thrown off as well, and I don't even want to discuss the confusing mess that became my nap schedule.
The only bonus was that in their confused stupors they had no recollection of who fed me and when. I only had to politely request a snack or meal and they would look confused and bring on the chow.
Yes friends when your world has given you lemons you can still find a way to make lemonade.
Beans can get confused easily - it is up to us to make sure we take advantage! Good work about the food!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope your mom's and dad's schedules get back to normal soon...but hopefully their confusion and snacks/meals on demand will continue.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to get extras! If only our Mom didn't work from home.
ReplyDeletePee Ess: The dumb bunny was in fine form today!
You are smart Fin! Get what you want from the humans when they don't know whats going on!
ReplyDeleteOne smart kitty Fin-you know how to work it. Lemonade--all the time! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm all for routine too. It's sounds like your have learn to work this interruption however.
ReplyDeletethis is why i keeps trying to get mommy to gets a boyfriend or someone else to lives with us. cuz she never falls for the "you no feeds me yet" routine!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, work it baby, work it! We try to divide an conquer too!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I only have one human, so she has to be having a really off day for me to bamboozle her into feeding me twice!
ReplyDeleteSo right, just exploit it to the fullest, SIF!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is just the right cat-titude to have when things are not right☺ You iz a furry wise kitty-catty.
ReplyDeleteYoo just can't get the staff these days, can yoo? :le sigh:
ReplyDeleteOoooh how many dinners did you get?
ReplyDeleteHuffle Mawson
Now that is truly a great plan!!! We're going to try it!
ReplyDeleteSniffie and the Florida Furkids
Fin, we are very sorry your schedule isn't properly being followed. On the other paw, that does open the door to the extra food....
ReplyDeleteFin...you are one smart cookie...
ReplyDeleteHa! Furry furry clever, Fin!
ReplyDeleteWell done Fin. Trust you to benefit from chaos.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! That's a great way to look on the bright side:)
ReplyDeleteYou are smart. I must try that trick.
ReplyDeletepurrs,
Evy
You are so clever, Fin!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Way to make the system work for you, Fin!
ReplyDeleteYou are *so* smart, Fin! Beautiful *and* clever, you got it all. We only have The Mommy so can't play that trick. On the other hand, she just leaves dry food out all day and we don't get wet food (none of us really like it when she occasionally gives it to us to try - yeah, we're weird), so it doesn't much matter for us. We're glad you're making the messed-up schedules work for you, girlcat!
ReplyDeletePurrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
Hey Fin, that could really work to your advantage! Yes, you can get fed as much as you want that way! Lemonade is right!
ReplyDeleteYou're such a pleasure, Fin! You're great at seeing the good side. Enjoy your extra food!
ReplyDeleteFin, we are very proud of you to be so understanding! *purrs*
ReplyDeleteEvery cloud has a silver lining!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Fin. You wisely turned what could have been a disaster into a triumph for yourself! Kudos.
ReplyDeleteI strongly dislike any change to the proper nap time protocol, I feel the pain there, but extra munchies are always indeed a plus! If only this worked with the proper nap/snoozing schedules. Hope things will settle down soon!
ReplyDeleteWhat great advice!! I only eat dry food, so there is always a supply out for me. However, I do guilt them into giving me extra tuna flakes when they have been working late!
ReplyDeleteGood work, my friend! I am always on the lookout for extra treats, too. Thanks for your comment, too. Did I mention Fin that you are quite beautiful!
ReplyDelete--Mocha
Hey Fin's Mom, we tagged you for a game!!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that as a bead I sometimes throw of the schedule at our house - but I always feel bad about it. I am sure your mom does too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visitings us; we love your page, a very purrrty kitty you are! We like your extra nom-nom idea. =^_^=
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Fin!!!
ReplyDeleteWork it, baby!
