Random Thought Thursday
- I have still avoided being trimmed or groomed with the Faux-minator. My floof is very soft (like mink I'm told) and it seems like it just pulls my fur. I figure if I can fight them off till September they will just let me stay floofy. Here's hoping!
- Gnats got in the house about a month ago and my parents are constantly trying to swat them as they pass by or land on them, to no avail. They tell me to "Get Em" but I've explained that gnats are beneath my honed skill level - besides watching my parents swat at themselves as they try to kill them is priceless!
- I think it was about 102 today which by Vegas standards is practically a cold snap. It will be 110 by Saturday and Sunday. Maybe I should allow a trim?
Oh no, Fin...no trimming! Just stay inside with the AC and the gnats!
ReplyDeletehmmmm, if you've got AC, don't you actually need the floof to stay warm?
ReplyDeleteNo trim is necessary. Tell mom and dad to turn down the AC and make it colder in the house.
ReplyDeleteI follow the same protocol when my humans tell me to kill small spiders. Haha!
ReplyDeleteWe agree, just stay in the AC & you'll need your floof.
ReplyDeleteWow, 110? That's too hot to go outside isn't it? Not that we get to go outside at any temperature....
I dunno. That seems pretty hot. Maybe a little trim...?

110 sounds perfect to me, but proper heat is a novelty to us UK cats.
ReplyDeleteHold firm on the faux-mination avoidance.
We need footage of your apes swatting the gnats, possibly with some comedy music dubbed on.

Hmm..... we don't think you should have a trim either. Take away your magnificent floof? That would be ..be...criminal!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey want you to get gnats AND get a trim? I believe you have some bargaining material here, Fin.
ReplyDelete110??? That is brutal...maybe you should rethink that fur trim Fin!
ReplyDeleteJust stay inside with the A/C and keep your floof!
ReplyDeleteAnd the gnats are way too small for you to deal with. Da beans should know this.
Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
I think no matter what you decide regarding your floof you will be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteFin, we larfed and larfed at the thought of your beans swatting themselves and each other in their futile attempts to deaded the gnats! Tee hee.
ReplyDeleteMilo and Alfie xx
I wish I could feel your super soft mink-y furs!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that is hot hot hot!!!
ReplyDeleteSo we shouldn't complain about our low 96 degrees? Heehee
ReplyDeleteOh Fin, it is too bad that it pulls your fur because I bet that you would love how you feel afterwards if it didn't. But if it pulls that is no fun! But 102 - wow that is too hot for me - I like it cool. I guess Vegas would be a bad summer vacation for me!
ReplyDeleteKeep the floof and stay by the a/c!
ReplyDeleteWE were just telling Praline that we saw a tv show where humans were stealing cat's floof and making little handbags out of it! Be careful with your floof, and sleep with one eye open!

Wow, 110 is hot hot hot! And hehe, we Ballicai like to watch Momma and Daddy swat gnats, too. They're too little bitty fur us Ballicai to fool with, but they sure get the beans to fussin and swattin themselves instead of the buggies -- so funny. Maybe us Ballicai should give 'em huntin lessons!
ReplyDeleteKittyhugs and purrs from MaoMao!
Gotta keep that floofy coat all floofy Fin!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever concidered that it's too damn hot outside and even the gnats don't want to be out there?
