Whew, it's over for another year. Thanks Zoolatry for the pic.
My parents were pretty impressed that I hardly seemed scared about all the booms. It's true I wasn't overly concerned about the booms... I was concerned at Mittens repeatedly siting at my backyard door and looking in.
We hadn't seen Mittens in awhile but she is the little black kitty my parents feed in the front yard. Well apparently with my lack of presence on the back porch she has made herself very comfy in MY backyard. I kept a careful vigil but I didn't hiss or fuss (course the door was shut). I'm not sure how I feel about this, I guess it's okay.
We had a nice holiday weekend, and I hope you all had a nice weekend too!

Are those sparklers in your paws Fin? We all think you are very brave to not be afraid of the booms. Are we going to get to meet Mittens?
ReplyDeleteGlad the boomers weren't too bad for you. Will we ever get to meet Mittens?
ReplyDeleteWe're very glad you had a good holiday, Fin! Your picture is really festive.

Great pic. We hope Mittens was safe in the celebrshuns too!
ReplyDeleteWe hope we het to meet Mittens ~ but your backyard is your backyard - and no cute introoder can change that!
We're glad the fireworks weren't too bad. We love your picture though Fin, so cute.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can become friends with Mittens. The boomers didn't bother us either. ~S,S,C & F
ReplyDeleteSometimes a distraction makes the boomers not so bad...keep an eye on Mittens and make sure she doesn't try to take over your yard!
ReplyDeleteI like it! I like it!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't hear any boomers here. Some parts of Dallas didn't do any this year--because of money, Tommy says.

Glad you had a safe and sane holiday, Fin. I have a "backyard visitor" too.
ReplyDeleteLove that graphic from Zoolatry!
ReplyDeleteWowsers! Two sparklers at once :)
ReplyDeleteIt certainly sounds like you were distracted, Fin -- perhaps that's why the booms didn't bother you.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could try to be accepting of poor little Mittens. After all she is not as fortunate as you.
Love the "sparkler" pic!
Mittens is interested in you, Fin! Who wouldn't be?
