Boom Boom Room

Fin: Psst... Psst.. Mom! Over here. I'm hiding the the closet, in the back, behind the hamper.

Thunder: BOOM, BOOOM!

Fin: Mom!

Mom: Are you scared sweetie? It's just some rain and thunder, we're safe. You can come out.

Thunder: CRAAACK! BOOOOOOMMMM!

Mom: Holy Cod that was loud, and really close! Did you see that lightening?!

Fin: There's room in here for you too Mom...

Thunder: CRAACKKK! CRACK! BOOM!

Mom: ::Scooting into closet:: Well okay, maybe just for a minute. Just to make you feel better Finny.

Fin: Thanks Mom! Purrrrr! Hey, you didn't remember to bring snacks did you?

  11. You had the right idea, Fin. Thunder is NOT good, I am scared of it, too. Hey thanks for the comment on my humans' new paint job. My mom says the color is called "taupe" but we all know that's just another word for brown, like my fur of course. Happy sunpatch!

  12. Good job Fin, getting Mom in the closet with you. That is hysterical. So did she bring the treats? WE sure hope so since that sure would make you a whole lot less nervous. Take care and have a super week with no more Boom Booms.

  17. We watched the storms over Black Mountain! You really got hammered with the thunderboomers! We got about 0.2" of rain, but not the crack and booms. Grayce had to come inside and hide in Daddy's armpit for a while. The rest of us were very BRAVE and protected Mommy on the sofa.

  18. We are right with you Fin. Those storms can be very scary. When they are really bad, mom closes all of the doors unstairs to be away from windows and we all sit in the hallway! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly

  25. Thunder Boomies scare my mom too, so she's the first one in the closet. Bringing snacks is a great idea! I'll let her know...or maybe dad can bring them to us...after he stops laughing.
