Tagged By A Mom

The Mom of my great friend's at Crew's Views tagged my Mom with a game. Here are the rules:

Either (1) post 7 facts about yourself AND photos OR (2) post 10 facts about yourself with no photos, OR (3) post a childhood picture of yourself."

  1. I was born in Chicago IL, but I grew up in Studio City CA. We've lived in Vegas 16 years.
  2. I want to be a novelist when I grow up (hopefully that will be someday soon). I am sending Fin's book to the editor this week (yeah) and I'm working on my human book now.
  3. My real job is to train nurses and other clinicians on how to use a computer charting application. I like helping people who help people.
  4. I've been married to my hubby for 18 years and we've been a couple for 22 years. I don't think I'm as old as that makes me sound.
  5. We've never had human children - only animals.
  6. I'm pretty boring, I'm in my very early grannyhood way ahead of schedule. Although I still like to think I'm cool.
  7. I do follow the rules and I admire that my cat doesn't.
  8. I've had hives pretty much everyday for the last 18 years (no I'm not allergic to my hubby, but the timing is suspicious). My immune system thinks I'm the enemy for no good reason.
  9. I'm actually pretty shy but I pretend I'm not in most situations.
  10. I am freakishly afraid of Grasshoppers and Crickets. They don't even know where they're jumping! LEAP AWAY! Why do you have to jump at me or (the horror) on me?
Not sure how many I'm supposed to tag I think six.

  1. MoMo
  2. Monkeys
  3. Tristan and Crikey
  4. Island Cats
  5. Cory Cat
  6. The Creek Cats
Play if you want to, and because I'm channeling Fin any other Mom's you can play too! I'm a blog rebel!

  1. You're not very boring because these are really interesting facts!

I can't wait to read Fin's book. I love how you write, so I know it'll be a pleasure

I used to get hives every day for about a year and I don't know how you have put up with it for so long! Mine was caused by a 'trauma' and they thankfully passed as soon as I worked out that issue.

Thanks for tagging me. I'll do a post on Thursday.

  11. Oooh, cool, we didn't know you were writing a book for/about Fin! We look forward to it, our Mommy loved Max the Psychokitty's book and read it to us. Just make sure it's done in an ebook version too!

Those were interesting factoids, The Mommy laughed at the grasshopper/cricket one, she hates when they jump at her!

  12. Odd how humans, 'specially human females, don't want to reveal their age. I don't mind telling everyone I'm 3 years old!!

PS. Mom says she knows where Round Lake is and it's a great place for a kid to spend their summer.

  13. Fin, your mom sounds really cool! My Mommie gets hives if her skin is exposed to cold; it is very strange. We do not have any human children in our household, either.

Best wishes for big success on the book(s)!

  19. We found your Mom's facts fun. Our Mom has no kids - just us and she has lots of allergies too but not to us! She gets hives when she is really stressed out!

  21. Those are very interesting facts, and I complete agree with you about the grasshopper/cricket thing - you just don't know when or where they are going! And that hives thing is at least a little suspicious!

  22. We loved learning about you, Fin's Mommy! It's funny that we know more about the kittehs than the beans! We are looking forward to reading Fin's book, and yours as well. Fin's blog is really fun to read, so we're sure the books will be too!
