I could have told her that if she'd asked. Hopefully she'll get even wiser when she gets the last two wisdom teeth taken out in a month or two. Thanks so much for all your positive thoughts and purrs. Mom will recover quickly now, and of course Nurse Cat Finny is ready to help things along (I'm already planning how to add some extra-healing cat spit in her water).
Today is also Dad's Birthday! I anticipate lots of soft yummy food for his party and I'm all in! I hope there's whip cream. My grandparents are coming too and I like them a bunch.

ReplyDeleteGAH! I am feeling so bad for your Mom, Fin...Wisdom tooth extraction is, well, as bad as pulling teeth!
ReplyDeleteI had all mine out at once and the surgeon dislocated my jaw. Black and blue on the left side from my eyes down to my collarbone. After 6 months of physical therapy I finally healed. Did I mention I was only 17?
Nurse Fin, take good care of your Mom and don't pester her tonight and let her sleep. You know she'll worry if you ignore her...heh heh.

ReplyDeleteYikes, wisdom teeth! Momma got lucky and went to a really great oral surgeon to have hers out so it was no bother, but she's heard stories......
ReplyDeleteSince we cats don't have our wisdom teeth pulled, that's further proof of our mental superiority...
Happy Birthday to your dad! xxx

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your dad! I hope your mom's mouth is feeling better and she can enjoy some cake and ice creams!
ReplyDeleteHi, Fin, nice to meet you, too! Never met a cat I didn't like! Thanks for your nice comment and well wishes for my kitties - they are better from the most recent ailment, but one of them is 18 with chronic renal failure, so her 'issues' continue. Hope to 'see' you again soon!
ReplyDeleteMany happy (belated) birthday wishes to your daddy!
ReplyDeleteOh my, the first dentist couldn't get it out? What an ordeal. Good though that your mom had the weekend to recover.
Mom has some wisdom teeth pulled and some are still there. Some dentists here only pull them when it's needed and other pull them no matter what. We hope that the next ones come out fine!
