She's Cracked Herself Up

So last night Mom was enjoying a cracker when she felt something odd, and way too hard to be a cracker... turns out she cracked her top wisdom tooth, on a cracker, which cracked her up. Shortly thereafter, when the ouchiness settled in, she realized this wasn't as ironic and funny as she initially thought. Tomorrow morning she has to have it pulled. She is a huge baby, so if you could think a good thought or two it would be nice.

On to a MUCH better topic, my book give-a-away... and the winner is my friend Sweet Praline! Concats! Please send Mom your address.

Guess what? I've discovered I have a couple of other things to give away too, more on those later. Hopefully we will be back with a post tomorrow, unless Mom is too sore. I will be at her side to make sure she has lots of healing purrs.

  7. Concatulations to Praline - I'm sure she'll really enjoy your book! As for your human, eek! The dentist is not fun. Boodie has told me. I have a feeling you will have NO problem making sure she rests up after dealing with a wisdom tooth extraction. I just hope getting it pulled doesn't mean she loses any IQ points! That would make it even less fun.

  12. Your poor mommy! Thanks Codness it's "only" a wisdom tooth and not one of the more, ehem, expensive ones that can's be just pulled. We will purr and purr for her tomorrow. Cooling is key, please make sure she has at least two ice packages to alternate. And some more or less liquid food in case she gets a swelling. All the best!

  20. Our mum had terrible trouble with her wisdom teeth and had to have them all pulled out. She put it off and put it off and as a result suffered terrible, awful pain.

In the end the pain became too much and she over came her fear and had the teeth pulled out. she was then left wondering why she worried for so long and went through so much pain because the whole removal was completely painless!

Your mum will be fine. Put it this way, having the tooth pulled is nothing like suffering chronic toothache.
