Well Mom's back is still bothering her and frankly it's starting to bother me too. Sure I love the fact she's spending a good deal of time lounging about with available lap time, I can't deny it.
All the healing purrs and the cat spit I have to deposit in her cups isn't a picnic for me you know.
It's all the grumpy complaints about bending over to fill my dishes that are really getting to be a bore. My litter box is not getting scooped with the regularity I prefer either.
Yes I'll be glad when she is all better. Luckily she is a fast mender, so I should have my regular caretaker returned to me by tomorrow I hope.
Fortunately her petting arms are in fine form.
Oh very best of luck to Mommy. I spent most of this year with a terrible back and it's just no fun for anybody. Thinking of both of you!
ReplyDeleteWe will purr for your mom. At least the petting arms are working!
ReplyDeleteFINNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's ME! It's ME! Your long lost friend! I bet you thought I was laying dead in a ditch. Or at the very least, abandoned in my own townhouse. I've finally twisted glogirly's arms and legs and have convinced her that my life is just not complete without my blog. AND my blogging friends! I've missed you, Fin.
Love,
Katie
(glogirly's CAT)
Awww Finny, be easy on mom. I'm sure she's doing her best. I hope she feels 100% soon.
ReplyDeleteAisha
We were worried until the last sentance...as long as you can still get pettings you are OK!
ReplyDeleteMommy says: "Meg, take it easy and mend up soon"!
Fin, have patience with your mom. She is, after all, a human and we all know how inferior they are to us cats.
ReplyDeleteFin, this is exactly why you are my pal! Sure, it's too bad that your human's back has been problematic, and you have made efforts to make her feel better. But at the end of the day, there are priorities!
ReplyDeleteI don't think cats ever get bad backs. We ARE the superior species after all!
ReplyDeleteWell we hope yoor mommy feels better soon ~ if only for yoor sake! MOL!
ReplyDeleteFin you will have to be patient, well I guess you are really.
ReplyDeleteI believed your mom will have a speedy recovery because she got a special care from you, Fin : )
ReplyDeleteHello Fin, my sisters and I will be purring for your Mom's back to heal quickly, teamwork ya know! I think you're doing a terrific job taking care of her!!!
ReplyDeleteI am co-hosting a blog hop today, please hop by and pawticipate!
We're sorry to hear about your Mom's back! We know it is no fun to be on constant nurse duty, and it is even worse when they grumble about cleaning litter boxes! We are sending some purrs to help with your nurse duties and we hope your Mom is better soon!
ReplyDeleteIt's a very heavy load to bear, Finny.
ReplyDeleteClearly your mum has a lot of making it up to you to do over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteWe hope your mum's back feels better soon Fin
ReplyDeleteI know it's hard to put our Mom's first. I've been a bad girl when My Mom was so dizzy she couldn't get outta bed. I chewed a wire cuz she didn't get up when I wanted her too. She was so upset with me, she told me she was gonna take me back to the shelter if I didn't behave. She loves me so much, she's never do that. Give Mom plenty of purrs and help her feel better.......Kassey
ReplyDeleteYou know, Fin, about unscooped litterboxes, there's one sure way to get a human's attention, but it should be used only as a last resort. I personally have never tried it, but I hear it's 100% effective.
ReplyDeleteSimply leave your daily "business" in a place where she can't miss it, and your box will be scooped immediately, sore back or not!
George
Gosh, sorry Mom's back isn't getting much better. She does need to get back to taking care of you, that is for sure. But at least you are getting lots of good attention. Be sure to give her tons of purrs, maybe that will make her feel better.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
We are sending mending puurs to your mom so she can stop semi-neglecting your needs.
ReplyDeleteOur mom's been doing torturous stretches on the floor, abdomen strengtheners and such.
ReplyDeleteWe help her of course, getting in the way as much as possible.
Fin
ReplyDeleteWe hope your Mom feels better furry soon,

We hope your mom's back is feeling better soon, Fin, so she can get back to serving you like she should.
ReplyDeleteWe hope your mum's back is soon better. It can't be much fun for you not having a properly scooped box.
ReplyDeleteMy mom had kidney pain the other day. Fortunately, it was only one day, & Spit & I spent the day with her giving her lots of purrs & some kisses & lovely, gentle tail flicks that she loves. She is better now. Hope your mom feels better soon.
