Floofy Friday

Earlier this week I showed you my tucked in loaf position...

Well this is one of my sprawl positions that we call "Otter Cat"

To be a true Otter Cat the front paws must be tucked against the tummy, it can be partially sideways (as it is here) or fully on the back with the back paws also pulled in. Hey do you think I could get this in the Doing The Q contest as Best Interpretation of a Theme?

::Whispers:: "Mom, you don't think I look... plump, in this photo do you?"

"No Sweetie, it's all in the camera angle."

Have a great weekend friends, stay chilled (or heated depending on where you're at).

  1. Hi friends! Mom visited everyone but says she was too tired to comment much. She'll be around tomorrow!

  2. I think to be a true Otter cat you need to fill your fountain with water and you need to assume the position while in the water! Ha! Did I say that? Ok, I'm just being silly. We think you got the moves perfect Fin!

  9. Fin, you certainly are fursatile with all your diffurent pawsitions! I really like this Otter Cat look. The tuck pawsition of the front paws is just adorable -- but I loved the one raised leg the bestest! You are such a funny girl!

  10. Sleeping like that but completely on my back is my favourite purrsition. Someone once commented that when you tuck your paws in like that, they called it bunny feet, and now mum calls it that too.

  11. Callie likes to lay like that, but she also tucks in her back feet. The Mommy gets all "squeeeeee" when she does it, and wants to rub Callie's belly, but Callie hates that. We'll have to remember the Otter Cat name.

(And of course you're not plump, you're just floofy!)

    Purrs and hugs,

  24. We think you definitely "otter" enter the Doing the Q contest. In that picture, it looks like your tail curls around outside of the frame of the picture and up by your head with a string and a feather poof at the end.

  28. We think you look very floofalicious in the Otter Cat pose! And by the way, we refer to the "Cat Loaf" position as "The Muffin Position".
