Consequence Week - Mystery

Mom said this is a consequence, but to me it is a total mystery.

During the Olympics I figured out I could jump onto the TV stand. It was so much fun friends! All the athletes were so fun to whap at with my Paw Of Doom!

My parents loved it too. They loved to see my kitten-head in the screen. They would yell out with such excitement! Then one of them would get up and put me down on the floor so I could practice jumping up there again.

It was the funnest game!

Then one day I was whapping at some runners, and the TV got angry and started getting really loud!

I got a little scared and jumped off. It must have made the TV feel better, cause it got quieter again. After that day, every time I jumped up on the stand, the TV got loud.

So I stopped jumping up there. So I guess the consequence of making the TV angry is it yells at you.

  1. Our TV is on the wall - we can't jump on it at all to test your theory, Quill. :-(

  2. Hmmm, very interesting consequences... Yeah, probably best not to make the TV mad..

  3. Sounds like someone needs to hide the remote.

  5. Well, whatever you do, don't chew it's power cord. There are BIG consequences to that one!

  6. We think your mom is mean. I mean, look at the look on your face? You poor traumatized thing! Treats must be administered enmasse and pronto! Like to scare some of your lives off with that trick!

  7. That's interesting! None of us are even bothered to look at the TV. Though Tutu does seem to enjoy watching Wheel of Fortune on Mommy's computer monitor. You'll think she'll have a stiff neck the way she tilts it 90 degrees.

  8. Dude. You're more massive every time we see you! Convinced you're Maine Coon. Totally convinced.

  9. Quill, that is the most expressive kitten face!! We think you should give your humans a consequence and whap the remote under some furniture for them to find. We show no interest in tv, but I LOVE to stand between the keyboard and the computer monitor. I don't know why that annoys Mom. Do you?

  10. Pee Ess: Mom had to come back and look at that picture again. She thinks your human might be able to make a line of funny greeting cards with your pictures! Maybe Hallmark would be interested.

  11. Hee hee...dat is a smart TV. Yer lucky it don't haf legs and paws, too :)

The human: We agree with Simba about the greeting card--that picture just begs for a caption.

That picture of you is priceless. Love that expression on your face. That loud TV really did scare you, you great big kitten. Take care.

  15. Mommy's car does that. When we jump on it it starts yelling real loud and we jump down. For some reason Mommy thinks it is funny.

  20. Oh wow. Well, the TV here is way to thin for us to jump on it and my little sis is way to preoccupied with my tail to care about the TV :-/
