Boo-Ya Kitties

Here I am chillin on the kitchen counter, where I'm "Not Allowed." Ha, that's funny.

Huh? What Mom? Get Down? No thanks.

I have plans - drinks from the sink, sniffing these peonies, checking on my treat stash.

How did I get up here? Well I'm not telling. ::Meows Wickedly::

  1. Stay right where you are, SIF! Not good to let beans tell you what to do. We have our dignity to consider.

  5. Why, Fin, you look purrfectly at home there. Stand up for your rights! Or, errrr.... lay down for them... :)

  6. You're absolutely right Fin! Keep your secrets!

  7. That counter is yours, fair and square.

We get up on our counter because that's where the cat food dishes are kept. If our food dishes were on the floor, Grete woofie would eat our food.

    Woofies are awesome!

  8. How did your mom find you? I had to look twice!

  9. My human didn't think any of us got on the kitchen counter. Then her boyfriend told her that he saw Binga doing the dishes... with her tongue (like how else is she gonna do them?). And then one day she found Boodie asleep in the kitchen sink. Of course, I never go up there because I am a good kitty... either that, or a Good at Not Getting Caught kitty.

  10. Oh yeah. You and Elizabeth.
She's started banging her way into the kitchen cabinets too - are you down with that action? ;-)

  11. Fin,
Your furs match the counter so nicely. Your Mom should recognise that you will not create any Work for her cleaning up any furs from you being on the counter and henceforth Allow you up there!

    Did that make sense?

And where did you Mom find Peonies?

  12. It's good to keep your secrets, Fin. We see no problem with you being on the counter. You hardly take up any room.

  13. They shudn't make up such silly rules, shud they? Then yoo wudn't hafta break them!

  14. I know just how you are thinking, so much like Spider and Smudge who delight in going on the table when I am not home.

  15. Why do humans even bother with rules? One look at your bootiful face and you can do anything you want!

  16. All the cats who came before me were counter kitties, but I seldom get up there. So I bet Mom hopes reading this post doesn't give me any ideas. I DO get on tables, though. Just not when people are eating.

  17. Doesn't your Mom realise that if she encouraged you to go on the kitchen counter it would lose all its appeal.
Don't tell her how you got up there or she'll want to try it too.

  18. You stay just where you want to, Fin! You've earned the right to do as you please.

We're "not allowed" on the counter, either...not in the presence of our human, at any rate. ;-)

  19. Cats go where they want to.

That's one of those laws...like gravity and such. When WILL humans realize this?

Eat a peony petal for us Fin!

  20. If you were able to get up there, then you shouldn't have to get down from there. How silly is that. Besides you look really good sitting there Fin. Do not move until you are ready.
    Have a wonderful day.

  24. Totally FIN, keep your secret and of course laugh at the 'rules'. We all know who is really in charge.

  25. Seeing your house makes me crave a visit! In my house there is no way those peonies would stand a chance in that top heavy vase! Oh Mr Dutch!!!

  28. My, you do get around for a senior ladycat, Fin! I'm sure everything's much more interesting from up there and you can watch what's going on a lot better.

And a girl has to keep her secrets, doesn't she?

  29. "not allowed"...hahahahahaha We scoff at such silly phrases. The beans really should know better.

    Purrs and hugs,

  31. Um, Fin, isn't it really your counter, so shouldn't it be up to you if you can go on there or not? We think you totally run that place and so of course you can hang out there if you want!

  32. Fin
We have finally convinced Momma that efurryfing in the house is ours, no matter what she thinks...
