Floofy Friday

What? A knot. In all of this? Never.
Go ahead Mom. Make my day.

My laser eyes are on stun, and I'm hungry...

I thought knot.

The knot wars continue. Being Floofy on Friday, or any other day, can have its challenges. My plan for the weekend is to lay low and sharpen things, just in case of an attack.

Mom is excited for the Golden Globes on Sunday. She calls it her Super Bowl. It comes complete with snacks and hours spent on the phone running down the fashion play-by-play with her bestest pals.

I am so hoping for some porch time. I have been deprived a roll on the cement for far too long. I long to feel the sun in my fur. Yes, in the winter, it's nice to live in a desert. What do you have planned for this weekend friends?

  1. Fin, I can't imagine knots in your furs! Don't let your mom come toward you with little scissors...that's what happens to all of us and if we can, we run away and hide! Living in the desert sounds great to us especially in the winter. It's freezing here every single day. All we have planned is to try and stay warm! Have a wonderful weekend!! Lots of love, Holly and mom and the kitties

  2. My mom is hoping to watch the Golden Globes mostly because she just loves Ricky Gervais...so much so that she still can't watch the US version of "The Office"...she'd rather watch her DVD's of the BBC version with him in it.

My sympathy, SIF. I guess I am done for the time being. Just to be sure, though, I am still in hiding.

  9. Watch out Fin - a knot can be several days work but do they admire it - NO - just snip and all that creativity is lost furever.

  10. I'll tell you Fin..I know how you feel. I have a knot in the beautiful cream of my bib and mom keeps trying to work it out. NOT working. She cut the other one out (I got these at the Vet hospital when I had to stay) and did a terrible job of it. She cut too much of my creamy furs!!!

  14. Well maybe if Mom is busy watching the tube and talking to friends, then you might be safe from that brush Fin. I would sharpen up though just in case Mom gets a hair to brush you. We are definitely planning a fun week end doing something.

  17. Hi Fin. We are sorry about the knot wars! We hope that they don't get too violent! Maybe if your mom just tries a little bit at a time it will come out eventually.

We hope you get some sun time soon - we know that outdoor cats kind of crave that stuff!

And we hope your mom enjoys the Golden Globes - our mom doesn't have any plans this weekend like that (her superbowl is the puppybowl) so we plan to bug her for snuggles a lot this weekend.

  18. Well, better to have your Mom take care of the knot versus having to take a car ride to the groomer!!!

My Mommy loves the Golden Globes to and I plan to be on her lap the whole time watching!

Take care and enjoy your porch time!

  21. We think your mom isn't seeing right so it just LOOKs like you have knots in your floof when you really don't.
