Bold?

I think I'm getting a bad rap lately friends. You see the coffee table is almost never used by my family and naturally I decided to take it over. I mean it's a low table - nuff said.

Clearly the table is mine...
Anywho my parents have suddenly decided they want to use the table. They seem to be placing plates of food on it. I am fine with this use, in fact I encourage it. Where the trouble comes in two fold:

Fold One - They think I should suddenly abandon my spot just cause they are there with their plates. I am perfectly willing to share the space. The fact that my tail gets close to their food is not my fault.

Fold Two - How can they think it's fair to deny me sampling access to said plates? They say I'm bold, like who knows what that means in this context? Dad says I have no respect for Mom and her boundaries - well he may have a point there.

  1. What the fluff Finny? Clearly that table is yours...and all things your parents put on it is yours as well. Just because they suddenly decided to use a previously neglected table gives them no right to boot you off.

  3. The humans never get it. When there are cats, nothing belongs to them, the humans, anymore. Duh.

  4. Fin, humans don't seem to realize this... but they HAVE NO BOUNDARIES! We can do what we want with them. Too bad they have such a hard time with it.

  5. Mom has learned that I have access to all places. She has learned to brush off the fur before placing food and plates on surfaces. I totally support your right to take over that low table.

  6. You were there before the plates of food, so, the table is yours and everything else that arrives later.

  8. Fin Mom's seem to not understand that brushing the tail in the food makes it so much more delicious. Stand your ground the table was clearly abandoned and was claimed by you.

  9. Well Fin, we have to totally agree. That is your very own table now. They can just get their own table for their plates or just eat around you. So what is a little tail in the food. Good luck Fin. Don't back down.Oh by the way, how is Mom feeling?? We hope she is better.

  15. If you have no respect for your mum's boundaries, then clearly her boundaries are wrong. She should re-think them.
