Bending It My Way

Here is a favorite hang out of mine - right in the bend of the L-shaped hallway. I was awakened from a quality nap by the Pawparrazzi here, as you can plainly see my disgust.

It's the perfect spot to keep an eye on my parents. I can see them coming or going. Over the years I've learned that it's best to tuck myself against the wall, rather than sprawl in the pathway. I was called "Speed-Bump" for years. Apparently humans can't see you in the dark or over large boxes they are carrying -who knew?

::Motions with paw:: Guess what friends? Daddy didn't sell my pillow! He was just cleaning it (it was floofy, just like me). He forgot to tell Mommy, so she's still stopping off at the NEW PETSMART on the way home. Sweet Bast let me say thank you!

  1. Hi Fin :::waves:::

    Yes, we've all learned, like you, that beans are somewhat blind when it comes to things under their feet.

    Love those laser eyes! :)

  4. So you are getting your pillow back, that's great. Mom is still going to Petsmart for you? Even better. Way to score Fin.

  5. We were so worried about that pillow, but it was just missing in action for a few days! Cool! And you get Petsmart treats too! You really scored Fin.

    PS...my momma and I like to sleep smack in the middle of the hallway because we don't want to miss a thing.

  8. Ah the speed bump. I was one on the stairs for a long time until the PM tripped over me one night taking the wee lad to bed when he was about 5 months old. She fell, he hit his head, they went to the ER to check him out. Not good....

    I am now a wall hugger/bed sleeper now.

  10. Oh thank goodness! I would be devastated if someone took something like that from me without asking.

    Happy shopping at Petsmart. I wish we had those here.

  14. We are glad you still have your pillow.
    When it is hot at night I don't sleep on the bed. I like to be a speed bump in the bedroom doorway.

  15. Yes, it's best to tuck yourself out of the way whilst napping...Tiger has yet to learn that and likes to sprawl in the hallway. I think we'll just adopt your saying and call him the speed bump now!

  21. My brother is a speed bump too. Mommy has to walk very carefully, because Ambrose won't budge. We are very glad that your daddy didn't sell your pillow. And we're very glad that your mom is stopping by PETSMART too.
