Bob: There's been some talk of Meg S Hart adding a new book to the Housecat Confidential franchise and writing a Cat-A-Lympic book.
Jim: That sounds great Bob. ::Covers mic:: Do we get paid for that?
Bob: Oh seeing this event is payment enough Jim. Just in time to welcome Friday - it's the Belly Off!
Jim: I think we have to go to the highlight reel for the master, Fin.
Jim: Quill is trying to step into sweet Finny's paws with this move...
Bob: ::Sniffs:: He looks so much like Finny! This is a solid showing for this floofy boy! Look at the added degree of difficulty with the ring hold!
Jim: You said it Friday! The close-up is totally squee-worthy!
Bob, Jim, and Friday: SQUEEEEEEE!
Bob: Greyson tries to pull it out but it's simply too close to call! Gold for both!
Jim: It's been a great games! We sure are going to miss everyone - we sure hope you'll follow our adventures.
Cat-a-lympic book is a great idea . . . but beware of legal issues. The knitters at ravelry.com got flamed by the lawyers for "defaming the Olympics" by holding Knitting Olympics (i.e. competing and comparing projects to work on while watching). Sad. They ended up changing the name to "Ravellenic Games".ReplyDelete
I love the cat-a-lympics! The ring capture was AWESOME and the belly up? SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Love love love love it!ReplyDelete
I think a sequil would be awesome!
This has definitey been a fun Cat-A-Lympics!ReplyDelete
I would so love to comment on this post, but I'm currently incapacitated from all the cuteness.. *swoon*ReplyDelete
An outstanding Games all round and this event was especially "squee worthy".ReplyDelete
Jim, Bob, you've done another great job this year. We're sad to see you guys go.ReplyDelete
Quill, Greyson, you guys have done us proud. Great job on the Belly Off!
I wonder how big a problem Cat-A-Lympics would be... you aren't actually using the WORD Olympics and there is the whole satire use allowance. Something to look into...ReplyDelete
Oh my goodness! Floof overload!! Great job guys, and that extra difficult ring hold? Marvelous! I would love to see a Cat-A-Lympics book.ReplyDelete
What a wonderful climax to the games!ReplyDelete
Quill sure does look like Fin. The full frontal with the ring is a superb photo. Enjoyed your 'Lympics competition. Gold for efurrybuddy! Have a great weekend. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista JoReplyDelete
Oh that ring hold! Purr-fectly executed! Surely, a record score? Purrs...ReplyDelete
Oh goodness, that was sure a great end to the olympics with all that floof. Wow, that is just terrific. Good job Quill looking just like that Fin girl. Take care.ReplyDelete
Fin was the Queen of the Belly Up, but Quill adding the ring hold was a stroke of genius.ReplyDelete
OMC is it too late for my Cat-a-lympics entry???????ReplyDelete
