Flooflet Friday

Guess what? I discovered I am nocturnal!

All this time I have been turning in at night when my parents went to bed. A couple of nights ago I woke up in the middle of the night - full of energy! I brought my toys into bed and thrashed around on Mom. It was hard to settle back down.

Last night, I had attacked all the body parts in the open air. Did I mention I have a double row of fang teeth right now? Yeah! Cool huh? Where was I? Oh right...

I was still ready for business - I'd had a long nap in the afternoon. I did my patrol around the house and I noticed a plastic bag on the floor. I carried it into the bedroom, and played on for almost 10 minutes before Mom got up to take it away.

I realized all the stuff I get in trouble for doing while my parents are awake - I can do for much longer in the middle of the night! I whacked at the plastic wand for the mini-blinds for almost twenty minutes before Mom got up again. What fun!

Good Night? You bet!

That smile? Satisfaction!

Dad's started calling me Night Quill.

Have a great weekend Friends! I know I will!

  3. Looking at that picture, it is impossible to believe you could do anything remotely bad.

  4. Just WAIT. Nocturnal naughtiness is only the START of the "badness"! May we suggest looking UP? Like the counters?

  5. I totally snorted at 'night quill'.
Little Clyde finally got rid of his double fangs. I love seeing them, if he would have held still for more than a nano second I would have gotten a photo. Maybe you'll have better luck. I suggest when 'NQ' is sleeping.

  15. Oh goodness Night Quill, that is too much. Sounds like you are having such a good time at night. Maybe Mom needs to give you a job in the afternoon so you sleep at night. We do that sometimes too. We go in the bedroom in the middle of the night and walk all over the Person and just play with her toes etc.
We hope you have a great week end too.

  17. I think every kitty is a night owl because they can have so much more fun being naughty, and it takes a lot longer for the beans to interrupt them. You are doing it right!

  26. Night Quill? More like that's what the humans need if you're going to be nocturnal! MOL!! SCORE!

FaRADaY: An' I can purrsonally attest to how much fun it is to burrow under the covers while they snore and NIP them in the leg. Man can they jump! MOL!!

  27. By the way, I am a good 2 years older than you but I bring toys to bed and play with them in the night time TOO. Mom is thrilled I can tell by the arm movements and weak words of encouragement.

  28. What a great picture of you! You are such a cutie! We love the new nickname too! I love whacking blinds against the window frame so much that Mommy finally replaced the blinds with ones made completely of paper (since she was pretty sure I would climb curtains), so she could get some sleep. We are very impressed by your nocturnal projects, but we have a feeling you might need to find quieter ways to occupy your time if you want to keep your nighttime bedroom access.

  29. Ah ah ah! Have the humans started consuming more coffee in the morning? ;-)

  32. Oh my, did Angel Fin leave instructions for your nocturnal games?

Thankyou for coming by to visit on MoMo's first birthday at the bridge? Wonder if she and Fin were celebrating there. They certainly have enough old friends there to have a ball.
